Hi folks.
Some match vids and stuff.
From a Kaillera 3-player ‘winner stays on’ session we had a few weeks ago: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ASMAMX9B You will need Mame version 0.64 to view the files. After unzipping, please place the files in the emulator’s inp directory or appropiate. The are 3 separate replays; after each one is finished, close the emulator and load the next. The first replay should end at Billy vs Cheng (Time Up).
To avoid confusion on who’s playing:
Crayfish: Geese, Laurence, Cheng, Joe and Tung (in green)
r3ko: Laurence, Andy, Geese and Billy
I used Duck, Jubei, Tung (in blue), and Axel
Next up are matches between myself, r3ko, Crayfish and Ryza. These were recorded from 2 different sessions at Crayfish’s place. I’m still uploading these, so expect more in the next few days.

Checked out http://www.ii-park.net/~garosp/ and found more interesting stuff.
First, is a Guard Attack ranking chart, which goes something like this:
1 Geese
2 Andy
3 Joe / Axel
5 Mai/ Bear
7 Jubei / Cheng/ Krauser
10 Terry / Duck/ Billy / Kim
14 Tung
15 Laurence
The rankings are based on how each GA scores on the following categories:
reach, start-up, how easy it is to use, and finally, how well it compliments the rest of the character’s moves. In the categories, and out of a rating of 5 (the highest), Geese’s GA scored 4,5,3,3 respectively. Axel scored a 5 with his GA’s reach unsurprisingly but didn’t score too well in the other fields. And for you Laurence users out there, 2,1,1,1, I’m sad but not shocked to report.
This site still amazes me with the amount of information hidden within. Found this gem for Jubei. Basically, it’s a Jubei combo listing chart/recipe against each character, showing which combo to use for soandso to score a dizzy. It even tells how much each move of the combo does in dizzy points. Very handy. I’ll translate later.
In other news, I managed to play with the dip switches in Kawaks, and found the one which displays all hit-boxes! Very nice and interesting to have. Here are some of note.
I’ve drawn over the actual hit-boxes in MSpaint so they’re easier to see. Red = attacking; green = vulnerable.
