we need to have more north americans playing. most people I run into are japanese, and with FFS’ weak net code, the lag just goes out the window.

From Trieu over at SNK-Capcom, on a tactic he used to win tournaments with Jubei. I almost forgot I still had this PM sitting around over there!:

"Not really a glitch, but definitely hard to get out of. You basically throw a cookie at your opponent in the corner and do the special grab move, which is forward, half circle back, then straight forward again and press the C button.

So it’s from the middle, to 3 o’clock, half circle to 9 o’clock, back to 3 o’clock and press C button, then throw cookie, then do it again. This only works if the opponent keeps blocking, because if the opponent gets hit, the “glitch” doesn’t work."

bump, I am in need of some assistance.

Is there any sort of trick to doing Duck’s Break Spiral from the ground? Or are they using hex/macros in these videos? I am completely inconsistent at doing this move and wish I could do some of the ticks/setups in these videos. Is there any sort of alternate motion for it that makes the standing Break Spiral possible, outside of pure speed?
