Went to the premier on Wednesday, kick ass intro from the cast, kick ass movie, kick ass speech given by Stallone on Badassery before the film, and seeing a drunk Jason Statham coming out of the elevator when going back up to the hotel room = Priceless.
i saw it saturday afternoon. in a theater with 30+ yr drunk men screaming and getting hyped. i enjoyed it, specially since 80s/90s action flicks is a big part of my childhood.
This movie was all kinds of truth. The only two people I wanted to see was Dolph and Terry. And jason made me proud to be a knife collector. 
Yeah, after reading his ‘bio’, I just felt full of fail…damn I got to step it up…
Though the swedish have a military? I thouight they were like…ya know, the peace folks…

This quote from Dolph is pure gold. I was shocked when I found out he knew karate. I found out back in 91 when Showdown in Little Tokyo came out. I want to see a movie with him, Van Dame, and Sonny Chiba in it. :tup:

I just like Sonny. :bgrin: That and the fact that Chuck, Dolph, and JCVD were the second tier action stars of the 80’s. They were my favorites instead of Stallone, Willis, and Schwarzennegger.

its not to compare movies smartass. you can have a good horror flick and another good action flick. even though they aint similar style movies theyre still good movies. this movie, in all seriousness was just mediocre. you could just block out your thoughts and go fuck yeah with this movie. theres not a lot of action for an action flick, the action that is in the movie is generally meh. cept for the few moves stathem and li did. 3 at best if your a fan, for me its not worth more than a 2 outta 5. i never would want to see it again.

Other than that, I like the Schwarzenegger & Willis & Stallone in the same room thing. Terry Crew’s gun was dope.
A bunch of washed up action stars having one last “hoo-rah”, this movie can’t do any wrong for me.
hope to see this very soon, it looks GOOD!! heard one of the actors made over a billion dollars, Unbelievable stuff. It was on the front page of yahoo not too long ago.
these actors are getting OLD with wrinkles and aging so if they’re planning another movie before it’s too late, it’s gotta be soon. Anybody know of a expendables 2? i’m guessing probably.
