The ethics in gaming community or why American players act two-faced cowards?

It does happen all the time in everything. Ever watch an interview with a boxer before his big fight? Ever watch an interview with a football player about his roll in the upcomming super bowl? Ever watch an MMA Fighter do an interview before one of his fights? Lots of shit talking going on. Not everyone is like that but lots of people are. You just gotta take it all in stride. Most of the time its all in good fun.

Its just the way it is and its been like that for a very very long time. Here in America some call smack talk mind games. You know, getting in your opponents head before you even play them. Something like that.

you arent even part of the community, why should anyone care what you think. why should you even be allowed to have an opinion.

And being competitive is not being fake. Its all in good fun. I can’t believe you don’t hear the playfulness in some of thier voices.
What they basically say is “I’m gonna win” and then shaking each other’s hands is not being two faced, that’s just being respectful and boosting your confidence up.

How about you get some experience in a competitive environment before you start making rationalizations about people you don’t know being cowards eh?

There’s nothing wrong with saying “I am going to destroy this motherF****” or something similar, and then being cool after the match. Look at MMA fights… guys can talk Sh*t about eachother, and then fight it out, and afterwards give eachother mutual respect.

Can this NOT be compared to high level SSF4 players/matches ?

If one guy doesnt like another… and then plays him and sees that his opponent may be on the same level… why not give him a little credit for that?

This of course would be completely different if guys were straight up talking Sht, and then being nice, and then going BACK to sht talking.

You would know Mago and Kuroda do it all the time but people still love them. You seem more interested in starting fights I mean unless your pissed at someone there is no reason to walk up to them and say "Im going to f**king destroy you." your a bad sport if you do that. Also in the real world people talk sht behind peoples back all the time I bet someone is doing it to you right now.

useless thread

Mahvel doesnt count lol it brings out the drama in everyone that plays it whether it be scrub or pro or anywhere in between.

i grew up in a different world. where if you talked shit you knew you were going to get fronted on or get bombed on. i think of the video game community like college, it is such a safe environment that some individuals go out their way to be disrespectful because they believe or even know that they won’t be harmed physically. i guess that’s cool because it’s always sad when that does happen. but i mean look at the people who do talk the most shit, the people who everyone keeps mentioning. i mean honestly you think anyone wants to be like them? we always talk about them like they’re complete clowns!

people do that all over. I’ve got co-workers who I think are racists, but I act civil around them, treat them nice because its the right thing to do (if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all). But that doesn’t change the fact that they wished germany took over the world in WW2 so we wouldn’t have the gays, blacks and jews ruining the USA. Much less all the mexicans illegally immagrating to our country.

If FChamp and Sabin want to be nice in person to some players from another country then thats on them, and if they want to belittle them behind their backs then thats on them too.

OP think about this, you posted this on SRK a forum. You basically did this behind their backs. But if you were face to face with them you’d probably act nice and polite to them.

Basically your guilty of the criticism that your judging Sabin and FChamp with.

WTH, OP? You’ve never played competitive sports? I’ve been playing competitive sports and games since I was five: evidently you’ve been sitting on your ass and never learned about competitive relationships - and coopetition. I may hate people, but I’ll play them straight up and respect their game. I may love people, but I’ll play them straight up and hate their game. I love dann but if we’re talking about competitive stuff I’ll hate mercilessly … with regards to him as a competitior.

Competition is a whole different world. I can’t imagine what kind of weird life you must have to not understand basic concepts like this.

Oh gross. New account created just to post this garbage.
