Oh man that minute between the email and the apology was probably the best thing I’ve ever seen on TV.
My thing with Drama is that I used to like him. He was a likable dude who just did dumb shit. Thing is, after this long, you’d think he’d see the shit coming. He was funny before because of the situations he was put in, but like that shit with his girl, he did that shit to himself so it just seems annoying to me. It’s like " Watch the fuck out, dumbass.". I’ve seen him fuck himself over too many times for it to be funny anymore.
On the bright side, at least they’re trying to change Vince, finally. I love this show, but if you ever watch the seaons back to back it literally consists of Vince saying over and over that he will, or won’t, do a movie. This happens all season, and then he finally does the movie. Glad they’re changing that.
I want to see Turtle get some success, and stick with Drama since those two are hilarious together, but not very funny apart.
I also want to see Sloan again. That girl is just classic beauty. She really is.
Just peeped the newest episode. I knew that was gonna happen somehow (Fireman movie gets sold to the guy who hates Vince.) By the way, I’m glad they brought back Carla Gugino’s character. I like the direction they are going with her it’s good she hasn’t been completely forgotten or underutilized like other previous characters were. (Bob Ryan, Turtle’s girlfriend)

This post is pretty much exactly what I think.
I was so disappointed with the season premiere, since there was a total lack of character development, but when Vince finally sat down with Ari and said “i’m tired of being a laid back douchebag, let’s start working”, it turned it around.
However, Drama still seems to be stuck in that annoying niche. His character really needs to go somewhere other than screwing over his life/the others lives.
E is the only character that has actually developed somewhat over the seasons.
I watched all four eps of the new season yesterday. They ruined Drama…
Turtle consistently getting ass makes no sense.
The excess nudity has been kinda weird. Out of the first four seasons, there’s probably been a handful of nude shots. First three eps all had some.
The direction of the season seems weird right now. I feel like I’ve seen the same shit too much (Turtle watching porn, random meets in strip clubs, Drama being a dama queen). But ONE thing remains untouched… the gold of Ari Gold.
Yeah, as entertaining as it is, they really are kind of doing retreads of shit in the past. The thing going on right now is like that thing they did with the Johnny Ramone story in season 3.
It will be interesting if they get Vince to play a supporting role though.
Ari is still the shit though.
