I personally think that Juri is an awesome character to use. That being said, if she didn’t show up in the next series, I’d just end up using someone else.

It means they are afraid of Korean media backfire so they (probably) decide to not include her.

If they made Sf4 take place before SF3, maybe they can make SF5 take place between those two games?
I don’t think she’ll be in SFxT though. I saw a video of Hwaorang (?)… and he had the same exact divekick series as Juri. And poison kinda has her fireball thing going on. I know there’s Ryu and Ken but they might be scared of what the fans will say if they keep copying and pasting movesets.

yea, i love juri as an character. something about her evil cockteasing-esque nature attracks me to her. but her playstyle is pretty eh ( i prefer rushdown characters hence, ken/yang ) but i do hope she make sf x tk. because the roster as of now is pretty bleh to me. i have nobody except ken that i even remotely like.
Anyone who is complaining about Juri’s playstyle shouldn’t be playing her at all. Her playstyle is an amazing mix of keepaway/lockdown combined with great normals. Fireball divekick punishes from nearly fullscreen, amazing frame traps with cr.mp and st.rh, instant overheads and a great fireball game, “unblockable” setups with meaty ground fireball FADC on some characters, what more could you guys ask for? Her playstyle is unique, but certainly not bad by any means.

I changed my mind, Juri will be in SFxT:AE along with Jun and any other notable absentees. (Yun, Lars etc)
“Unblockable”, as in actually blockable but difficult to if on the defense… hence the quotations. Try a deep crossup jump mk cr.mp, lp fireball FADC overhead in training mode on someone like t.hawk set on crouching and auto-block. It catches people who habitually block the low fireball crouching since it looks like it hits low, only to get hit by an overhead a frame later. It’s beatable by EX reversals and such, but I’ve had it work plenty of times in higher level play by people who are trying to defend against rush down.

I’m happy as long as I have a female character who has a fun playstyle for me. For SF4 series, so far it has been Juri, and Rose to a lesser extent, and in A3 I enjoyed Karin. Poison in SFxT looks like something I could go with as well, and her gameplay trailers are the reason I decided to try out Juri at all - originally I skipped over her for some reason I don’t remember. With any of those four in a game, I should be fine.
I don’t like male characters because I feel too…“bulky”? I like Gen in SSFIV and SFA3, but he’s the only male I’ve enjoyed in SF.

She doesn’t even look one bit asian. And I don’t just mean her outfit, I mean her facial features in the game. She looks like a normal american/canadian white goth/rock/metal girl to me. If Korean media is the problem then they should just change her nationality lol.
