I admit I was a little disappointed with Juri not being MvC but then again, it had Zero, which gave me a reason to hype that game despite that. If the worst comes to worst, there will probably be a character I’ll like to play as regardless.
As SFxT, I’d like to see Juri in it just so that I can team her up with Nina. Team Pyscho-Bitch is a go! 
As a few others have said, Juri is now a main vilain in the street fighter universe. She’s a very important (and popular) character. So the chances of not seing her again in SF are equal to not seeing Bison or Akuma again.
Just look at it this way. There are SO MANY Characters in sf4 series that would most likely never make it to another SF game. Hakan, El Fuerte, Gouken (even though he is part of the SF lore), Seth is gone forever thats 99% sure. Dudley Makoto and Ibuki. I think one or two of them will say good bye. Like American Idol.
You know what would be a great Idea if we can intergrate SF characters and American Idol format. To be held over SRK or something that relies on fan votes. I dont know what kind of performance they have to do to stay on (obviously not singing). But I think taht would be a great idea to promote the game . “STREET FIGHTER IDOL”

As stated previously, she’s one of the main antagonists of the game. The only female antagonist, now. They made an anime focusing on her. Plus she’s the first and only Korean character in the SF series. Korea has been screaming for a character for so so long. They’re not just going to cut her because a few more people use Ryu.
If only only one thing matters it’s that she’s from Korea. How many more games can they sell over the Sea of Japan now that they have a character that appeals to Koreans? They’ll make her work before they bother cutting her. Like it or not, she’s here to stay.
One thought that scares me is the fact that Juri could be disposable because S.I.N. have more people like Juri… let’s just hope she really takes over S.I.N. for SF5.
hmmm… Well They put C. Viper in MvC3 and though she is one of the good ones she feels and looks like one of the bad ones. Perhaps it will be the same with SF x T. I’d rather they pick Juri though. It really would be a shame for her to end with the SF4 series. Why can’t they kill off the characters I really hate like Blanka, Ryu, Seth & Adon? I’d be so happy to never see those guys again. Emphasis on Blanka.
There is no way she would not be in the next game (e.g. SF5) she is way too important canon wise. She killed Seth (not Bison, it’s unclear what happened, but either way he is eternal. I read that directors debated who she was going to kill but they concluded her to kill Seth instead, either way Bison is eternal so blah blah blah) and took over S.I.N. She also has some characters who have unsettled business with her (Chun-Li, Cammy, Guile, I guess Bison too…) and it would make NO sense for her not to appear.
However bad news is she isn’t eternal like Bison and is a mortal. She’s probly going to be killed sometime in the future because she is evil, and as someone mentioned earlier in this thread Third Strike takes place after SSF4. S.I.N. nor Shadoloo is there so something probly happened to both organizations. This is why sometimes it’s stupid to have storylines in fighters if characters die- people want to fight as their favorite character for their playstyle, who cares about canon? On other hand, didn’t they bring back Gouken with little to no explanation? lol

Your killing me here, I main Juri but I love playing Ibuki and occasionally Makoto as well. Sadly I agree Hakan will probably never show up in another SF game. Even if somehow he makes the cut, he always seems like he is at such a disadvantage in every match up that he would be seen as a wasted character slot (I’ve yet to try him in AE but I haven’t heard any solid changes to him). As for MVC3, I gave up on it…though I’d give the game another try if Juri or more Darkstalkers characters ended up on DLC.
ssf5 bison takes her body ( idk as long as juri reterns), sakura gets more fleshed out becomes the new ryu, ryu ken become alot diffrent. dan trains sean to be even cooler. alex and able retern. the twins are the new ryu ken.
honestly … i feel like they should at least … make another sfiv … like a farewell sfiv … after they do the sfxtekken … they use the models they created (ones that werent previously in the sf4 series) and paste them into a final ssf4 … call it ssf4 turbo … i dont care … i just dont want the series to die like that and jump into an sf5… every sf took ages to grow … and to this day people are finding things in 3s … they were faithful to the sf2 fans … why not the sf3 as well ? theres a huge potential in the 3s cast …
im just hoping … (and this is just wishful thinking) … they look at 3sOE … and look at whos really popular there … and consider them for a final cut in sf4 … (plus whatever junk they put in sfxt … which im honestly not too excited about atleast not for now… and i doubt it’ll sell as good as sf4) … hell i would like them to break the story and give us gill … to show what a real boss plays like … link the series together … make the last boss fights like alpha 1 where u didnt necessarily have to fight bison as last boss and everyone had their own thing going …
CRAPCOM usually says this is the final version to everything … sfiv wasnt gonna have a sequal and neither was super … not to mention the online updates (if u want to consider those mini sequals … ) the way i look at it this is how many versions we got …

people keep complaining that the more characters we get the less likely its going to be balanced … well… look at yun … they intentionally made him unbalanced and broken … so clearly that isnt what they’re aiming for … which i find idiotic … its like having an MVC3 character in sf4 … even with feilong in super the game was still bareable in terms of balance … but now … its just pitiful … and extremely offputting to say the least …
the way i see it … the more characters they make … the more matchups you have to learn … and the more likely you will find someone to shine with a character that you dont come accross very often … and the more likely the game will last … AS LONG AS A CERTAIN LEVEL of balance exsists. i dont mind making a few characters stronger than others … just not to the point that its like fighting a last boss everytime …
im hoping that atleast with some fan rage … from both pros and scrubs … AE at least gets a balance patch … just to give other characters a fighting chance … i mean … they nerfed the good characters and buffed the crap ones … now its time to add 2n2 and give us the buffed versions of everyone …

loved 3s, loved the character design in 3s.
and i guess thats what i like about the idear of sf5 its realy truly open. they can make sakura grown up and shit like that, just move everything forward.
but tbh i prefer ss4.bit pissed that yun/yang are aparantly even more broken that in 3s. there cool chars but did they have to make them so tear enduceing
Some nice theory crafting there about making SF4 broken so people would move on to the next series easier. Would make sence from a marketing perspective, in which case, there probably wouldnt be another patch…

make a game with broken characters … when the scrubs pick up the game … they will choose these broken characters … because these characters are broken … the scrubs will get wins and get hype … when the game reaches the sales estimate they were looking for … they will patch it for the hardcore fans … (if a patch were ever to see the light of day) >__>
