Did not know Ex sunflower goes through fireballs.

I’ll have to look into her combos and maximizing damage. The combo I like using is f.mk xx mp > mp > c.mk xx sunflower lance. Hits crouchers because of spacing in case you screwed up timing. This is a tight link especially online.

I find her f.hk > bedtime xx c.hp xx ex. Qcf+pp important in opening up your opponents. It’s a tight link but essential.

I gotta find these 400 damage combos off anti air. Haha

Andante, cr.HP xx EX Feisty Rabbit ~ Rabbit Thorn, cr.HP xx LK Sunflower Lance. Does 392. Is also possible to do after a j.HK as a punish combo instead of an anti-air for 430 damage, IIRC.

True I see your points and they are all valid. I guess it depends on your playstyle. I did originally have Lili in the second slot, but Im so bad with Asuka on Point that I rarely ever get a chance to get Lili in. With Lili on point I dont have to worry about trying to get Asuka in to do damage and tag Lili in.

Once I get my Asuka skill up I’ll switch her back since she makes more sense on point ( she doesnt really need meter).

And true EX Sun does punish but I was talking about moving closer in without the use of meter.

Side Notes:
-Tiger knee’n Divine step his good for punishing fireballs once you learn your distances. Jumping then doing DS is too slow and you’ll probably get smacked for your troubles.
-Can EX Sunflower hit from full screen??

Dont think you can properly combo Submissive Heel into cr:mk:. ( Maybe on counterhit)

Lili’s launcher does 100 when you boost cancel into it, unlike every other launcher in the game (as far as I know). This makes links to boost canceled launcher do much more damage than the average other character. If your teammate has a really good juggle after it then you’re set. This is why I’m considering Lili and Raven.

nope it works. even tho the frame data in the guide disagrees with what i’ve done in training mode lol. the link definitely works.

I buffer that from cr.mk but I wasn’t sure if it was unsafe or not lol

I found some tech for rolls. After you get a knock down immediately do a lk feisty rabbit and you’re opponent will roll backwards. This is especially good for when you got you’re opponent in the corner. If you’re opponent doesn’t roll , then you’re still pretty safe and you’ll just be on the other side. Giving you a free mixup.

Also on topic… Lili can get 400 damage if you can hit confirm off J. M St. L Cr. H lk Angel Knee lk Angel Knee cr. H L sunflower lance is 400+ damage I think(Scaling is SO brutal in this game… If you can avoid chains do so…) Lastly… I dont know if anyone read the guide… but it does bring up something interesting about running lili on point… her launcher always does 100 damage raw(before scaling)… regardless of whether its used in chain combos or not… which means J. M MH launcher is gonna start you with 258 damage on your tag and very very low scaling to start(my second character comes in dealing 70% of damage)… this means an easy combo to retag is gonna get HUGE damage pretty easily… Most other launchers in the game as far as im aware deal 50 damage before scaling(in chain combos… not raw)… Just think that is an argument for running her on point on some teams… that launcher is ridiculous… You can reduce scaling off her F. MK MP chain by linking it into st. M instead of st. L… its a little tighter, but still very doable. xD

Although Rog isn’t maximizing Lili’s damage potential by using the target combo after the overhead, he’s showing how to get into Champ’s characters with Lili.

Has anyone else been able to do her dash cancel strings consistently? According to her frame data, dash canceling heavy languish/cr. HP should leave her plus you do it right…

…but it’s really, really hard. I mean, my execution is terrible, but still, to hit qcf and then [P] -> forward at perfect timing is pretty hard.
I feel like it’s worth the effort though, it means that Lili can stay in and literally alpha counter and invincible moves are the only way out.

She can only cancel on frame 9 of her charge special and her dash is 17 frames so that’s 26 frames recovery.

ugh heavy languish scales combos p bad.
