I don’t think so, she has low stamina. Lots of mixup potential, but you have to be very careful. She is basically a female Akuma imo.

Idk either its because of the damage being toned down but it seems like she takes less damage and so does Akuma.

I think Lili takes time to use and also be the easiest character to learn, but the guy is right she is female Akuma. Still I’m going in the lab with her and learn basics and moveset, then day 2 combos/mixups/gem setups.
Good gems for her.

  1. Speed Gem
  2. Meter building gem to build 20% meter build.
  3. maybe another speed gem or meter building gem.

{note: I don’t know the names yet.}

I believe she is a character that needs meter to do some damage some work. That just my take on it.

Your better of throwing vitality gems on her extra 140HP and damage reduction

in capcom games if you have low health , you probally don’t really need to be blocking much or even being hit

imo im going to go with 2 meter and 1 speed

I think meter gems are not necessary for her. She needs good battery more imo

her ex moves are gdlk so

She is going to need those fortitude or vitality gems and maybe a power or speed gem. I don’t think she needs meter gems at all.

i dunno i just dont get the need for extra life , if her ex moves are godlike wont she need all the meter she can get?

No I agree with you. I will use Lili as a secret combo weapon. Chun on point for the footsies. And then tag in Lili during Lightning Legs (switch cancel) or whatever to start the mix ups. I think I would give Lili either some meter gems or damage gems, or maybe a bit of both. If the zoning and footsie battles start again from a distance, I will probably switch back to Chun again.

You guys have to remember that gems are there for you to be creative with. If you want a more defensive Lili with more health, go for it, if you want a more aggressive one that abuses EX moves, go for it. It all comes down to your playstyle and strategy in general.
Not that I’m saying a more offensive gem set up for her wouldn’t be better than a defensive one (because I think it would), but it’s not much of a big difference if you ask me. Just go with whatever you prefer.

Gems are always going to come to a playstyle choice… if you want to make Lili even more of a glass canon than go for it, if you want to make sure Lili has more chances to put out her insane dmg than build around that… doing 50% combos @ 1% health > being able to do 60% combos but Lili’s dead.

Well it all depends on the situation. When your opponent has 51% life left for example, then it’s better to have the 60% dmg combo. ^^

well like I said earlier thats the point of the gems

some people can have it so they can make more mistakes

some people will have it to make rush down better

hell some people might evena wanna use auto block

i’ll be running meter and speed though either way

Seems like most people will run meter gems with her, but I hope I see less complaining about the female characters vitality
