If Sega doesn’t say anything on this side of the ocean about PSO2 they’re gonna fuck up. Even just rehashing their old vids with some dubbing or even some simple subtitles would be enough. Most people still don’t know the game exists over here and now’s the time to do something about that.
lol FF versus 13 can go and die for all I care at this point, making people wait 6 years for even minute details has a way of killing peoples hype. Plus the minor footage they released a while back was mad underwhelming and square enix hasn’t released anything good in a very long time.
I wonder what sony’s surprise is though, a vita price drop? A remodeled vita? Other than those two things I can’t really think of any substantial sony franchise that they need to bring back.
Remodeled vita wouldn’t be very business savvy right now. There isn’t anything wrong with the current design as it is right now imo besides maybe better battery life but the system just came out this year. If anything it just needs more games…and maybe a $50 price drop.
PSO2 is the only MMO I am interested at this point, your move Sega.

To be honest, I have this entire scenario in my head about a Star Fox game with human characters instead of animals. You ever get those video game ideas that you honestly thought really hard about to the point where you know character backstory, visuals and gameplay mechanics? That is what I am thinking lol

Planned FULL backwards compatitbility and telling developers that their games have to be rendered at 1080p and plus all those different inputs they’re shooting for. Well…this is all of course rumor anyway…

Lets say in another universe that exists. I’d rather build a new PC, and save money in the process.
When I sold my PS3 1 and a half years ago I thought my PC would cut it when it comes to games. Basically 95% of the games I wanted came out on consoles so as long as devs choose console as their platform of choice I will stick to it. Most devs are scared of piracy I know some games sell well but honestly it is a legitimate concern.
You only have to be scared of piracy if you make bad games.
That isn’t necessarily true because a game like Dark Souls will get pirated. It will sell but we can’t kid ourselves, it won’t sell as much as it could if piracy never existed. I myself have pirated good games a long time ago, don’t do it anymore but some people just can’t help themselves when it is so easy. I do admit if your game is garbage it will probably get pirated even more.
Piracy has been and will be around forever. No use fighting it.
Best thing to do is to give people bang for their buck. Why do you think Steam is such a great platform? I never paid retail price for a game on Steam but I purchase shit whenever there is a sale. Fallout New Vegas for $5? Sign me up. If developers can find ways for people to hang onto their games then there wouldn’t be a problem.
