Their conferences always sucked. They rely on celebrities, Halo, and CoD too much.
Hmm the Rocksmith game actually seems to be kinda good if I do say so myself lol, as a guitar player who learned by ear it seems to be a good learning tool for beginners… not to mention the fact that it makes you go along with the song itself. I am a visual learner for the most part, so if this game came out for when I first started learning this would have been a godsend lol. It seems a bit niche to me, but it might be a big hit or a complete flop, I am going to check it out anyways simply because there is an amp/pedal mode to freestyle in!
Revelations looked pretty legit, but I wish they could actually switch the story to Desmond at this point… I mean the dude is the real main character! No lie though Papa Ezio is looking badass in his old age.
If Sony can top Microsoft’s fist bump, i’m not sure how i would act.

I actually didn’t feel Microsoft’s conference was THAT bad. It was better than last years in comparison. Since for the most part they did bring a lot of games and some ofthe stuff that they showed for Kinect. I’m disappointed in a lot of things though in it. It’s still going to be mostly used for menu based things, dancing, and rail stuff. I was WAY disappointed in Kinect Star Wars since it looked so horribly clunky.
All that said though Microsoft still is the most lackluster conference shown so far but it wasn’t completely horrible imo.
Can’t wait for Trackmania 2. Wish they would show Shootmania too but whatevs.

Yes an open mind is one you must take, not everyone is a hardcore FPS nut, so the conference isn’t going to cater to such things. Keeping an open mind, I actually found the Kinect offering to not be back (Other than the disneyland shovelware) I though the Sesame Street game was very inventive and really did remind me of my childhood on the STREETS lol.
Optimism and a little less bitching helps you enjoy the events people, we can bicker and bitch next week about stuff.
I definitely know that because wii owners already went through everything that Microsoft is just now experiencing. That’s including the negativity towards games that aren’t catered towards them.
