Yeah but this year was always going to be weird. Both Sony and Microsoft are slow rolling their announcements because they don’t want to get caught with their pants down. I wouldn’t have been surprised if they played chicken with the pricing and details for SKUs until August just because they both, but especially Sony, knows how to undercut the first to announce something.

The prices for both PS360 and PS4Bone were announced at their respective E3 conferences though. And seeing as Microsoft usually go first and then Sony the next day or the day after, I feel we’d see MS announce a price so low that there would be no way in hell Sony could’ve affored to sell their machine at and remain profitable enough (aka not repeat the PS3 fiasco).
e.g. Series X at 449$. Sony would either have to match or let the Digital PS5 at 399$ just to undercut MS there. Or suffer bad PR from having a higher pricetag.
And something tells me that’s still going to be the case

I doubt it, the Main Microsoft cooperation Proper would not let the gaming division take such huge losses again.
There’s been a lot of coverage lately that Microsoft plans on announcing a cheaper model of the SEX by the end of August. It’s going by the project name “Lockheart” but will be called the Xbox Series S.
I feel bad for shitting on this now because I just remembered the new Digimon game, Digimon Survive is being made by Bamco and it was pushed back last year to sometime Summer of this year.
