Lol. Even The Chinese gaming community is dunking on Pokémon Unite. The biggest majority of them are saying fuck Tencent for ruining an amazing franchise by making a copy paste Moba no one asked for or needed.
The rest is basically people being mad that Pokémon is bowing to the Chinese by making Unite and saying TPC and Gamefreak are prioritizing money over players and teaming with Tencent is a slap in the face of fans

Nintendo of America has done absolutely no promotion for it as well. Their last social media post was about asking players what game they’re playing to cool off in the summer heat. Before that is Paper Mario and Xenoblade Chronicles

Fairy Tail looks like a legit title in its own right, like it’s a step above most licensed anime games. I gacsbt watched the show in ages, but the game definitely looks great
That is what the Pokemon company is meant to do, outside of the main games or stuff they need to fill their schedule Nintendo doesn’t do the ad work for Pokemon especially a mobile focused joint with another company. The Pokemon Company handles that stuff, unfortunately they seemingly didn’t think things through with the ad stuff, not bundling this announcement with their more favorable ones from last week.
That’s the thing though, Nintendo social media always parrots what the Pokémon social media does when it comes to major announcements like this since they’re sister companies and all their content is obviously exclusive to Nintendo (outside of mobile, obviously)
They haven’t mentioned jack shit about Unite. Neither has Nintendo Canada, Nintendo UK or Nintendo Europe. The only social media that has mentioned it is Nintendo of Japan and TPC’s official social media accounts
Why the game isn’t a DoA style TnA fest? Fairy Tail went straight ecchi once it’s popularity began dropping.
Wait when was it not ecchi? I can not remember the creator not having lingering panels or skimpy/tattered outfits since Rave Master.

There was always ecchi but it didn’t dominate the series like it does now. A couple of the OVAs border on hentai. I always called bullshit on the one where a drunken Erza got everyone drunk and stripped naked during the king’s game and nobody fucked. The setup writes itself.
