Console actually has some style to the design instead of being a lame fucking box. It looks so sick. I hope you can get a black one but otherwise I love it.

Not feeling the design. Big reason is that pieces of it that are jutting out like that could get caught or snapped off I see in the future if I try moving the thing places.
Taking that thing to tourneys and pulling it in and out of a bag is probably going to be SUPER FUN

Interesting they didn’t drop the price tag.
They probably waiting on M$.
They have no reason to yet. They’re playing chicken with Xbox and they will up until release.
So far though Sony did a good job…I mean the bar was M$'s event so it was pretty low but they at least cleared by a wide margin imo. They brought the gameplay. So now M$ has to respond.

Doesn’t look like you can lay the console down… unless there’s a separate stand for that. Or it’s sturdy enough as is.
They showed you can lay it horizontal for a split second.

The disc drive doesn’t look like it belongs. It looks like a girth on the console.

It’s like they added the disc drive at the last moment, it looks completely out of place, making the design assymetrical
For a company that clowned upon Xbox about the whole disc based/used games they sure aren’t showing those who physical media any love, followed by a middle finger with the “digital edition”
It’s not a middle finger…if it was a middle finger they would have tried to say ‘YOU GET NO DISC AND YOU WILL LIKE IT…GOOD DAY SIR!’ They’re giving people a choice.

Watch them announce something like “PS4 backwards compatibility only for digital versions”

I’ll wait for V2 of the console…Sony usually makes great the 2nd ver of their consoles.
