Not gonna lie, this is the first thought that came to my mind. Its gotta be a Nintendo IP because why else would they be on a treehouse stream?

Also there are some rumors that there may be a direct coming July 20th. Rumor mostly comes from someone who called the mini direct in march in advance. We’ll see if it pans out.

I think the direct is likely going to happen, give or take a few days from the projection. The current President of Nintendo, Mr. Furukawa just mentioned in a share holders meeting that the majority of the staff at Nintendo’s Home office in Kyoto have made the transition into working from home and everything is flowing smoothly again.
He also mentioned that despite being “ a little bit” behind schedule he doesn’t foresee any games, dlc, etc being delayed or cancelled on account of covid or the transition to working remotely

Here’s the thing though, and I know this is just adding fuel to the speculation fire but it may be a Ubisoft developing Mario+Rabbids situation where WayForward is using one of the IP’s they own and making a game with an IP Nintendo owns.
Imagine if they made a Risky Boots/Wario team up RPG or Exploration based Platformer.

Cleaned up the OP a little and added some videos and link placeholders for upcoming presentations. I didn’t do much but, to me it feels like it’s easier to read/navigate and generally flows better.
