we just got 3. Koei usually holds a year or so apart from their warrior games.
DWG3 came out June 28 of last year, so itâs closing in on a year. An announcement now with a projected release of spring 2013 or so would make sense
Oh By the wayâŚitâs One Piece.

Donât let the end fool youâŚitâs still coming to PSN for US as far as we all know.
EU will have disc format.
not the type of year iâm talking about.
I was talking more like this year would be the off year for DWG and we would get something next year.
Thatâs how DW/SW games seem to work. If anything, this would have been the SW4 year but I guess WO3 is our game. So Iâm assuming either a SW4 is next year or something down that line.
A Samurai Warriors game has yet to appear on the PS3 for gamers outside of JapanâŚI was hoping this is the year we get some SW love.
I mean DW7:Empires was pretty much expectedâŚeven though it was announced so close to the JPN version.
SW3Z and/or SW3:Empires wouldâve been a nice surpriseâŚbut I guess it would be moot at this point.
Hoping for english SW4âŚ
SW3Z is coming to US we can expect that, but only PS3 and Wii will get it. KOEI Y U NO GOT LOVE FOR 360?
Ah, that makes sense. Well, Iâm in no hurry for another Dynasty Warriors Gundam yet since I still havenât gotten Warriors Orochi 3 yet, and DW7 Empires and One Piece Pirate Warriors are on the way.
I still have to catch up by buying DWG2 and 3. Along with actually playing Kenâs Rage 1. I only beat Kenshiroâs story mode so I obviously havenât played the bulk of the game still.
Finally heard all those damn Friendly Lines and platâd DW7:XL.
Now I can finally get into WO3.
Over @ Koeiwarriors its been confirmed that DW7:E will the WO3 treatment. No english dub, Digital download only.
Newcomer here, go easy bros
Did anyone else think that 3 was a step down from 2? The tradeoff was like this:
Lose: Story that doesnât suck
Space Battles
Gain: More stage variety
A few characters
Less Giant enemy battles
Stage variety wasnât really worth much though, because there are more stages that play the same now instead of the space ones to break up the monotony.
Best characters were already in 2, and they werenât saying as much ridiculous crap. The game is still more fun to me than the mainstream series, but I donât like the clunky way of picking your mission, stats, characters, and so on.
How well did Warriors: Legends of Troy sell? Is there talk of another game from Koei Canada? I liked the gameplay in that one a lot.
More stage variety? I thought that DWG:3 had substantially less stage variety than 2. Everything was either a 3x3 square, a diamond, or the huge TDWG map.
Guess itâs time for me to invest in a bigger PS3 hard drive, my 120 GB is running out of space.
I get why they went PS3/N onlyâŚ
Iâm getting why they are not going to get English dubbingâŚit sucks for me because I thought DW7 English cast was the best so far.
What I donât getâŚis the 5 month gap in-between releases.
In any of these games you are basically running down corridors or fighting in open areas. The space battles were the best thing.
Honestly I might like the Dynasty Warriors games if they had one or two battles that were open like that, or that actually resembled a battlefield and not dungeons or whatever.
I guess I can say good bye to hearing Cristina Vee as Lian Shi⌠again.
And 5 months? DA FUQ?
Man I just want Hu Lao gate and Naaman Campaign maps to just not suck dick.
SeriouslyâŚfuck archers in WO3.
They are the main reason I die on hard/Chaos and fuck up on the harder stage missions.
AlsoâŚwhat is it that I hear that certain characters get some sort of bonus if they max out their 4/5 star weapon capabilities?
Theyâre DW7 archers. Plunk on that Tengu armor (or whatever raises defense on arrows)
and what bonuses are these? I just started maxing out 5 star weapons with some characters (Wang Yi, Ranmaru, Xu Huang, Noh) and the only big difference I see is the huge attack gap after theyâre maxed out compared to maxed 4 star weps.
