Damn, Xiahou Dun’s and Zhao Yun’s new movesets are extremely fun, Guan Yu’s okay, but not enough Gessenkos/Crescent Moon (points if you know what I’m referencing) and Zhang Fei’s is meh.

Anyway if you want an easier time unlocking the Chaos difficulty weapons at least, just unlock the 4th title of a character with a Speed type character since the title enables you to absorb life for every attack, which is a lot of health you’ll recover if you take in account for the mobs of peons you’re cutting down.

This week’s Famitsu has also revealed another new character for Warriors Orochi 3. The legendary hero who is known for actually slaying Orochi, 素戔嗚 Susanoo, is the latest Warriors Orochi-exclusive character to be added.

KOEI-Tecmo revealed on this week’s Famitsu that they will be bringing Samurai Warriors 3 to the PlayStation Portable with the name Samurai Warriors 3 Z Special. The game contents will be derived from the PlayStation 3 version of the game, Samurai Warriors 3 Z.

Some of the game’s revealed new features include unlocking all characters by default when the PS3 version save data is present, and addition of past series costumes through Downloadable Contents.

Samurai Warriors 3 Z Special will be released on 16 February 2012 in Japan. Since no further Samurai Warriors 3 expansions had been released overseas, chances of this title getting translated are also slim however.

I’m kind of surprised they didn’t opt to port it to the Vita instead…

KOEI-Tecmo’s next Warriors game, as revealed in Famitsu, is an HD remastered version of Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce 2, called 真・三國無双 MULTI RAID 2 HD Ver. Shin Sangoku Musou Multi Raid 2 HD Version (Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce 2 HD Version). It will be released sometime in 2012 in Japan.

This is the second game in the PSP Remaster series, which is a project initiated by Sony to bring popular PlayStation Portable games to the PlayStation 3 with features like upgraded graphics, ability to use the same save data from the original PSP version, and ad-hoc multiplayer between PlayStation Portable & PlayStation 3 versions.

KOEI-Tecmo has previously confirmed at Warriors Orochi 3’s Twitter account that the original characters from Strikeforce 2 will not be appearing there, perhaps due to this point.

Wow, that DW7XL Weapon Pack that came just this Tuesday was so NOT worth it. Their attack power is pitiful and their elemental level is only “1,” yet their design is that of one the “ultimate” versions, same goes for the portrait. :shake:

To be honest, I kind of expected more of the DLC stages, I really don’t like how it’s just copy and paste Vanilla Warriors 7 maps with officers splattered on it. I was hoping for more classic stages.
