Not really…I was able to beat everyone’s dream mode in a day or so
I was using normal mode though.
My gripe was playing Mamiya’s dream mode.
Then again…the DLC that came with me pre-ordering unlocked EVERYONE from the start.

For me, the only bad thing is that it’s on PSP. But even that much won’t likely be so much of an issue if I can just buy this through the Vita’s PSN hook-up and play it that way. In any case, between this, the Naruto game and Saint Seiya Senki, it’s all the more apparent that Bamco is showcasing that they don’t necessarily need Koei to make Musou-style games for them. And that’s perfectly fine to me, as I only get more games of this sort to play! 
RE: FOTNS/Ken’s Rage - great game, probably one of my favorite “dw” game, at least top 5, even having played the import. at first it was a little slow, but that was due to not having ken’s cancels/dodges/etc, but was still having a blast. needless to say that once i was able to string moves with the cancels and shit, the game was perfectly executed for a hokuto dw game (imo). sure there could have been more chars and shit like that, but when it comes to hnk, i take whatever i can get and ken’s rage was excellent.
Just cause I’m curious, what does everyone think are the best weapons in DW7? Other than Twin Axes of course, we can all agree those are fucking stupid. Personally I belive Arm Cannon is up their, yeah it’s slow but it’s crowd control is huge.
Lance and Halberd are my favorites.
Yeah Arm Cannon is beastly. I think the Flying Swords with Zhong Hui as the wielder is pretty damn powerful, linking his musous back to back is just rape. Lu Bu’s Halberd is destructive as always, especially with the strong attack speed boost and wind element.
Flying Swords also have some nice combos off of a jump cancelled C3 right as the sword peirces them in the gut. Personally I gotta put Gloves up therir to, good damage, AOE, and all unblockable Cs. Plus goddamn you just toss people like rag dolls.
Sima Zhao has some nice loops off of his Musou 1, you can loop whatever into M1 ,C4, M1, C4, M1, C4, M1, M2. Kills most wiht the proper seals around the third loop.

and yes Gloves are so damn fun to play. Grabbin fools mid combo with J.S
Flying Swords, Lance, Flying Daggers, Sima Shi’s Rapier, Twin Swords, Gloves, and Flying Sickle are my favorite weapon movesets. Nice to see we have common weapon favorites for the most part.

Me likey. Would’ve liked it if Lian Shi’s new costume showed just a little bit more skin but at least she doesn’t look like an overused prostitute anymore, in fact she looks classy now. Wang Yuanji looks like a doll and I’m digging that one armed long sleeve that Zhong Hui is sporting since he’s dressed less like a European and more like an actual Chinese person. :tup:
saint seiya gonna have a us/ xbox release?
no news on that, game is still in development in Japan, and Saint Seiya didn’t do particularly well in America, so I wouldn’t bet on it.
It may come out here, just don’t get your hopes up or anything.
