I’m happy Turn X is a proper, Rank A suit now. XXXY = Shining Finger, which Ginghnam happily yells out. Suit seems pretty strong too, though its Supers seem to be Shot-based. It’s also a little on the slow side: I slap Speedster on it.

It’s a process Koei does with their original and XL games to combine them.
Like if I want to play decloned/playable characters that are in Samurai Warriors 2 XL in Samurai Warriors 2…I would have to first load SW2XL in the system, then go to Import, and swap the disc with the original SW2 disc. This has to be done every time I start a game.
I mean yeah SW2XL is a separate game in itself…but Story Mode was only available for the 6 new characters in XL, and on the other side the 5th weapons for the characters who were available in SW2 can only be accessed through XL story mode.
I’m using the PS2 versions as example…I heard that SW2XL was DLC for the 360.

Like I said…XL games are playable by themselves, just very limited in certain modes.
I bought SW2XL before SW2…I originally thought that SW2XL was the “complete” version.
Until I realized that only the 6 new characters were playable in Story Mode, and I was not going to be able unlock the 4th/5th weapons of the remaining 27 characters. Yay for me NOT reading the back of the box and manual.
So a year after getting SW2XL…I finally found a copy of SW2.
