I already used up my Outlaw DLC…totally worth it.
Aside from Heart, there’s nothing else I need unless from the DLC.
I’ve got the Ken’s Rage DLC. I won’t be back home to share for another 8 hours, though.
Cool. Hit me up with a PM later. :lovin:
Def buy Scott Pilgrim. Lots of advanced combos and the tiers are very close knit. Even the low tiers are very good.
Speaking of tiers I had been tiering Ken’s Rage in the Hokuto Musou thread to kill time before MvC3’s release, and now I kinda feel like finishing it. I was doing in-dpeth char write-ups. I really love that damn game.
ATUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUOOOOOOOHHHH!!!
Yo Emblem, I’d like to help out with that. And I definitely would like to include Heart and Outlaw as well. I haven’t gone as indepth in them as much yet but things that I liked so far about them in the short amount of time I’ve played them is that they have “Samurai Warriors” style combos in the sense that their S > T combos extend to C8.
Also another thing, IMO, when analyzing each character, it’s best if we do so when they’re all maxed out, like how DW5chaosmodeguide does on his Youtube videos. Luckily for us, if you don’t know about this yet, Tianming on GameFAQs was fortunate enough to share his gamesave with all of his characters maxed out and his save is usable, just be sure to back up your save in slot 2 if you still want to collect all the trophies.
And in DW news, DW7 Special for the PSP will not be coming overseas… as if that game had a chance of making it over here in the first place.
Doesnt DWG3 come out in Augest? I know it got pushed back a couple times already
Really? GameFAQs says it comes on 6/28 and I haven’t heard anything of a delay for the NA version as of yet, but I have heard that the European version has been pushed back a bit.
I just preordered DWG3 a couple of days ago, and GS has it still pegged for a 6/28 release. Will there be any sort of meaningful multiplayer or DLC for this release? I’ve got it preordered for the 360, and I’d like any reason to change the preorder to PS3.
That’d be great news to me. Ill be looking for it on 6/28

Check that out for char write-ups I did on a fe chars already. If there are any requests on the next chars then lemme know. Otherwise I’ll prolly do Rei after my job interview today.
I’m not surprised about DW7 Special not coming to the US…especially since DW is coming to the Vita, and Koei likes to throw in Warriors games as launch titles.
LOL. Putting complexity into a game that has none. I love it.
There is def sum hot shit in that game. BTW most beat em ups have tiers. A game doesn’t need to be complex for sum chars to suck other chars to rape.
I’m aware of that. But I always find it funny when people have to add complexity/challenges for a game to make them more entertaining. Which is why I’ve never really gotten heavily into beat em up’s and musou games.
I like Sengoku Basara Heroes and Gundam Musou but it’s because I don’t really have to try haha.
That’s just missing the point of the game, and why you can’t enjoy them. If you dig, there ARE things to learn.
I enjoy that part when playing a DW game where you have to put in that mad WORK to finish a stage on Hard/Chaos difficulty, since your character is pitifully underleveled.
Not trying to be disrespectful, but it’s probably attitude like that why most people don’t give these games a chance and the time to explore the intricacies of the game and the character’s movesets.
And the same could be said with fighting games as well. Why should I try to understand the inner workings of Street Fighter, when I can just hop online and spam fireballs against an unsuspecting beginner who doesn’t know how to counter it, for easy wins? That’s the point of fighting games right? Being the victor. Why should I put in the extra effort to understand the game when I can get the same satisfaction of winning by playing against a scrub by mashing buttons?
You can try to refute and say that the difference between Fighting Games and Beat 'em ups is that one pits you against a human opponent while the other just has you play by yourself. The point I’m trying to make is that if there’s people who love the game enough to put in time to explore it, then they’re going to do so. There’s people who love the Musou games enough to be able to analyze the games at a deeper level and discover things such as strategies to use in a crowd or 1v1 against an officer, character specific combos, etc. in order to find more enjoyment with the games rather than mindlessly cutting down fodder. The same with fighting games, players loved the games that they played enough to put in the time to find ways to play it at a higher level rather than goof around and mash buttons or throw out fireballs and DPs mindlessly.

oh shit Saint Seiya Musou?! Mexicans everywhere will be hype as fuck.
Koei-Tecmo is NOT going to develop the new Saint Seiya game…hope it’s still good though.
Still not enough for me to get a Vita from jump…
