Of course Lu Bu is the only guy that has the ability to do TRIPLE synergy.
Has anyone figure out if synergy or double element is better? I’m leaning towards synergy just becuase there is only 1 weapon that can obtain that seal.
Of course synergy for Lu Bu since he has the ability to have 3 of them mother fuckers… no point in double element I guess.
I tried double synergy on my Guan Yu who’s like 70% maxed and it’s already ridiculous. Going to try double element out to see which is really better.
Finally been playing through this game the past few days, and I am REALLY glad I bought this game. Best DW game since DW3, no doubt. Gone through Wei and Wu’s story, and now I’m trudging through Conquest. Conquest I think is very fun, and I’ve still got a ways to go with clearing all the hexes and leveling up my favorite characters. Fantastic game~!
On a side note, I was playing with Dong Zhuo just before posting this. His EX attack is probably the most cold blooded shit that I’ve seen in a video game in a long time. I couldn’t help but just laugh at how ridiculously cruel it was to do it do Diao Chan.
If you get 3 stars on Zhou Tai’s weapon you can wave dash with it. 
Just cancel the 2nd hit with another jump and repeat.
Way too fun to wave dash around the map.
What’s that gold Gundam tearing shit up at 0:50? Badass.

Just put in work on story mode. A good 30-35 hours overall.

Wu’s story mode was the most bullshit I had to deal with in a DW game ever. Some of their stages were just made for rage inducing. 3 generals being so retarded enough to get invaded on opposite sides of the fucking map; all of which are getting beat the fuck up. Can’t lose em either, they immediately go commander status on your map. ALL THREE OF THEM. You know what happens when one of them dies right? Ugh.

Shu has the most lop-sided battles in story mode. Seriously. Guandu is not in your favor in the first 5 minutes of it so you’re forced to run that ass off. To be honest though, that’s what makes most of their fights the most dramatic and hype sometimes. Overcoming the odds, werd. I got to play Pang Tong in story mode though, that was pretty sweet. I also liked Shu’s side of Chibi the most since you just lounged on a barista and shot everything in sight for half the battle.

Wei is just Wei. You tear shit up and don’t ask questions about it. Most of their story mode is just terrorizing shit. Cao Cao’s escape from isolate castle (Dian Wei) was pretty dumb since random fire attack blew away like 60% of that nigga’s life if you weren’t fast enough to OPEN DEM GATES. Yeah, it was one of “those” missions. Chibi was pretty hard too.

Jin’s story was very good. Sima clan is a bunch of assholes besides Zhao. The worst part of it was when I had to play Yuanji in that dumb ass stage to protect both Zhao and Zhuge Dan simultaneously. Once again, on opposite sides of the map. Final stage was pretty epic too and hella long. A good 3 hours spanned across 3 levels. Also voted to having the most random fire and barista attacks out of the 4. I think.

And for those who question Lu Bu’s manliness and brokenness, his first super is called Spirit Bomb. I shit you not.
His second super is even more broken, believe it or not.
Just got this game today and finished Wu’s story mode. I am SO happy they brought back the gameplay and restored my fucking characters. The new weapon system is cool, and the stoy mode is handled really nicely.

I finished the Jin dynasty’s story mode last night. Oh man, that shit was amazing. I loved the hell out of their theme music, Sima Shi’s movelist is amazing, and the end was pretty satisfying.
Oh yeah, what’s up with Lian Shi having dem E cups?
Never played the other DW :Gundam games. Might have to check this one out.
I’m about to Platinum DW7 and I just now realize I could of turn on 2nd player have him sit there and get free skill points. :mad:
About to platinum? Jesus. I still haven’t gotten the trophy for getting all 500 trivia questions right, and I’ve only got one person’s friend bar maxed.

There 5 rescue battles and one of them always give you a Wu officer, one always gives a Wei, etc…
So what you can do is set your ally, go to merchant and get an reinforcement, then go into the rescue battle and equip double congeniality. Kill 3 birds with 1 stone, and the double congeniality give you like 1 free bar. You can also fly through those battles like in 1 minute.
The fill out everyone’s skill tree is the annoying one, and I totally forgot to do the 2 player trick. 
Oh and this game works well with a TE stick I was fucking around and like wait this works pretty well.
I just got the 3000 KOs trophy not too long ago. Easier than I thought.
Oh yeah. Quick tip for that one:
Just play the “Battle for Supremacy” hex in Conquest Mode. Unless you go straight for the commanding officers, you are GUARANTEED to get 3000 kills.

Those trivia questions have been mostly trial and error for me, but I was actually suprised how much I knew when it came to some questions. I guess playing the same battles over and over was bound to drill in some key details.
So far I’ve done Liu Bei, Zhang Fei, Gan Ning and Lu Bu’s friend bar. I thought when you got the friend bar up three bars they became your sworn ally, so I spent a lot of time hiring Lu Bu so I could get that godlike assist. Turns out you have to finish their legendary battles and his is on the other side of the map lol.
What’s everyone’s thoughts on the online? I was playing a few battles and it’s ok but there’s a few things I don’t like:

[]No option to continue playing with the same person unless you invite them.
[]Can’t begin a battle while waiting for someone and have them show up as reinforcements or something.
[]LOO BOO RED HARE, LOO BOO RED HARE. RUN TO COMMANDER STRAGHT AWAY AND DIE BECAUSE I DIDN’T KNOW IT WAS ON CHAOS. There’s a lot of fun characters in this game man, but this is to be expected so whatever.
[]Takes you out of online mode if you go to a city or if you fail to connect to someone.
[*]People teleporting all over the map constantly. You’ll be fighting an officer and just see his health get raped in 2 seconds by the guy that’s 10 meters away from you fighting air. Oh well, better than input delay.

Just finished both Wei’s and Shu’s story and I gotta say, I like how they are more emotionally driven if you will. :tup:
A small rant though, I really hate how when the camera zooms into your character ala Animu style whenever you perform your Musou, it can fuck up your sense of direction, especially when you’re trying to be accurate with those Command Grab Musous. :sad:
God I hate the achievements for this game. I literally wanna break the disc in half.
The bonds weren’t too bad. The best level for me was Conflict at Shichuan(sp?). I know alot of people liked the rescue missions, but I kept getting the same officers over and over.
The quiz was so damn annoying. Looking up the answers on my computer then going back to the game pissed me off.
And now I’m on the last one. Getting everyone’s skill tree maxed. What a waste of time.
That DWG3 trailer makes the wait even harder. Here’s to hoping Summer = Early June.
