For Gundam Musou 3…Treize and Tallgeese II are added to the lineup.
So Dynasty Warriors 7 will have online co-op in Chronicle mode.
Ding Feng’s main weapon is a pair of metal fists.
Sun Ce has his Tonfas back.
Zhu Rong I guess has flying daggars.
Zhou Yu looks even MORE feminine, but keeps his bow.

And Gundam Musou 3 is out in Japan…anyone here import it?
There have been strange weapons in the series, but a magic brush? All I can say is that it’ll be interesting to see how that works in motion.

Xiahou Ba is the son of Xiahou Yuan who defected to Shu after Sima Yi took over Wei…yet he looks like he’ll be part of the Jin faction?

So, how are Strike Force and the Gundam games? I enjoyed playing (see: didn’t mind playing) Sengoku basara with my girlfriend when I bought it for her (she loves, loves, loves Koei games) so if they are like that, that would be awesome. I just wanna know what SRK thinks before I drop money into them and end up hating them.
So I guess you guys are already done talking about it, but I just got hokuto musou last week and HOLY FUCK THIS GAME IS SO FUN. I’ve only played a few DW’s, I don’t even remember which numbers, as well as both gundam musou’s, and this game completely blows them away.
I just unlocked Souther last night, man that guy ROCKS.
I have yet to play Strikeforce on the console…but I liked the demo.
I may finally pick it up this year. Been wanting to try out the Ninja Gaiden movesets.
Only Strikeforce I played is on the PSP. Althought really liked its sequel(Multiraid 2 PSP) more…but it doesn’t look like it will come to the states anytime soon.
The Gundam games are good games as well…especially if you are a Gundam fan.
I don’t like the grinding for parts though.
I spent the majority of my winter vacation playing Ken’s Rage…fun seeing soldiers get blown/sliced up.
Souther I think is the “Raoh” of Nanto…such a BEAST.
Ditto on that.
Yeah he’s definitely Raoh’s equivalent. I like Souther much more though cause while Raoh is great, I’m just not into the large character types, plus the kick centric style of Souther is awesome.
Man, was I the only one that had a really tough time on Ken v Raoh in the final chapter? I died like 5 times on NORMAL, but man, when I beat it, it felt SO good. I really felt like I earned that one, I had to jump up and yell “FUCK YEAH!” when I finally beat him.
Going against Raoh (1st time) in Legend Mode was agonizing…especially with Toki.
For some reason I could NEVER get Raoh in meridian shock with Toki, but after 10 tries…I beat him anyway.
Amazingly, I was able to beat Raoh once with Mamiya…wow.
Ken vs Raoh final battle is the worst though…both have that skill that makes them invincible, and then one or the other use their signature move to fuck me up.
What really fucked me up in Legend mode was the push button KO…failed every time.
I think that the Raoh vs Ken final battle was the toughest, since Raoh has a hell of a time getting away from Ken when he’s all roided up with Musou Tensei.
Great game, still.
Yeah when I fought Raoh I would always run til he ran out of musou tensei, then activate mine and kick his ass. I can imagine it being much harder the other way around. I haven’t played Raoh’s Legend mode yet cause I wanted to get right to using Souther after finishing Kenshiro’s Legend mode

Latest Famitsu has revealed the return of Yue Ying, Yuan Shao, Sun Shang Xiang, Taishi Ci, Zhang Liao, Dian Wei, and Zhang Jiao.
Wei Strategist Jai Xu debuts as playable character.
Most of them seem to retain their old DW5 weapons…
Fuck yeah, Zhang Liao! I’ve been waiting for his reveal, and I’m digging his new look.
Then again, I’m digging the looks for pretty much everybody so far. Zhang Jiao actually looks…important, for lack of a better term. I always thought he looked like one of those guys holding those “The End Is Near” signs in major cities, and I guess that was the point…he’s supposed to look crazy. I like the more professional look, though. Sort of gives you the idea he has his shit together. Wei’s new guy looks interesting, but I know nothing about the history of Jia Xu. Research time~!
Dian Wei’s got more dead animals on his personage, so that’s always good. Taishi Ci now looks like a badass centurion, and Yue Ying looks smokin’. I’m officially hype~!! The last DW game I played was the demo for Strike Force or whatever the hell it was called. All I know is that I hated it. It’ll be nice to play a true DW game in the next couple months.
So how am I supposed to play DW6: Empires? I tried out Cao Cao but I don’t think I’m getting the feel of the game…

I blew through all the rest of the game, until I got stuck at Raoh’s last Dream stage.
And then someone clued me in that some of those skills give perma stat bonuses.
Damn, that would have made the other 98% of the game so much easier if I’d known.

Latest Famitsu has revealed the return of Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang, DOng Zhuo, Zhang He, and Xiao Qiao.
Liu Bei’s son Liu Chan debuts…and Xiahou Ba is formally announced.
It was practically inevitable that Liu Chan would make the roster.
However…there is word that Pang De may once again get the boot.
I hope not…he’s a good character. I was not happy that Koei gave Pang De’s weapon, look, and story to Zhang Liao in DW6.
