On the first part, there are things that are improved and things that are worsened in 6. I’d say 6 Empires is worth a shot, I liked it atleast.
I can also say the whole "“1 button” thing is rubbish. It depends on the character, as with some I use the strong attacks (the things that take place of Charge) more than the normal attacks, and some I literally use both basically 50% of the time. But certainly, some characters all you have to do is press square/X. I think that’s to be expected with the amount of characters.
As far as a new rotk, some people seem to think it’ll be anounced after the new Nobunaga game, but there’s nothing announced.
Renting DW Gundam 2. Considering I don’t know anything about the series (the only default characters Ivaguely recognize are Amuro & the G/Wing characters :p), I’m liking it far more than I thought I would. It does the same thing Samurai Warriors did; takes the basic DW charge system and adds a few tweaks/twists of its own. Yeah it’s not as much of an innovation as DW6, but fuck, I like it. If I see this on sale I’ll definitely cop it.
Who knows, this might end up like Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, where the game actually gets me interested in following the original subject material. Though it’d take a helluva lot longer to catch up on than JBA, lol.
Yeah that mowing over people with Meng Huo is pretty dirty.
When I finally got Flash I literally didn’t notice any difference in my characters attack damage. Pretty disappointing consider what you have to get to purchase it.
Finally, some news on Samurai Warriors 3 :lovin:
Ofiicial site (Hasn’t been updated yet but will this friday) http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/sengoku3/
After a long wait, KOEI finally revealed first details of Sengoku Musou 3 (Samurai Warriors 3) by holding a press conference.
They also happen to introduce new characters that will appear at this latest sequel. http://i411.photobucket.com/albums/pp191/koeiwarriors/BlackKite/sitenews/sm3chara.jpg
From left to right, they are:
??? Kuroda Kanbei, a Toyotomi retainer who is also known for being a devout Christian. His weapon is a ghostly sphere.
??? Kaihime, daughter of Narita Ujitaka, a Hojo retainer, and concubine of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Her weapon is a sword whip.
??? Katou Kiyomasa, a Toyotomi retainer who joined the Eastern army during the battle of Sekigahara. His weapon is a scythe.
And the simple fact that Kanetsugu, Yukimura, and Mitsunari are back…makes this a buy for me.
Weird that Kiyomasa is no longer a generic…when will Hideyori get out of that stigma!?!
