I can’t remember which ones, but I played a couple for the PS2, it seemed all you did was attack crowds of similar looking enemies over and over again. They were fun for like an hour and got boring quick, and despite the wealth of characters it seemed like exactly the same thing over and over. Has this changed at all?

and i only really enjoy the DW games is because i always have a friend to play with
its much funner that way, especially when you go on a crazy long empire mode together

So I played all the DW games up till like 4 or so, has anything really changed? They were fun for a hack and slash game with a historical setting but the gameplay really got boring over the years.

if you played 4 empires then its basically that with added strategy of cards you do during the strategy phase, i think they added more items and elements to weapons, not sure how the musou/renbu system is going to work

regardless, im buying this one no matter what seeing as the last DW game i got was DW5Empires for PS2 and i played it to death

hopefully it will be in tomorrow!

I might be late to the party, but I FINALLY just got Orochi X about a week ago in WO2 :tup:
I now shudder every time I hear the word “proficiency” :shake:

Good news is that Amazon shipped my copy today…hopefully I’ll get it by weekend or Monday.

Oh, and DW6: Special is coming to the PSP…

Since I only have a PS3…I’m getting the PS3 version.
I read on the KW forums that the PS3 version has slightly less lag in crowded battles.

If I had both systems, I’d get the one I see first…

Don’t know where to get the game though. Called an Eb and they said they had it, so I go there and they tell me they only got one copy in and it was reserved. Then you DON’T have it now do you. Fucking morons. Never gonna buy from Gamestop/Eb again.

Best Buy isn’t getting it until the 30th for some reason.
