The Dynasty/Samurai/Gundam/Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star) Warriors thread

Yeah I only visit Hyrule to like relax since it’s a smooth game to just sit and kill time on. But yeah idk I’d probably attempt to full grind Hyrule may take a year or two though lol. But usually in grindy games I just atleast try to max out the character or two i like the most.

But yeah I’ll just take it easy and probably get something on the vita

Generally the main games (Samurai/Dynasty) are spaced out yearly so you can play the hell out of one for a year or so then get ready for the other or the Xtreme Legends followup.

As for the spin off Musou games, it’s a hit/miss for me. I haven’t touched a spinoff one since Hokuto no Ken 1 and i’m just really backlogged already with other games. I still want at least the latest Gundam Musou and to check out Pirate warriors but it’s time and money. I usually don’t finish EVERY single thing in a musou game but I at least do story then try to max out officers I like to play along with getting their 4th/5th wep. But the weapon system in DW is so generalized now I don’t bother as much anymore like say…Dynasty Warrior 3 and 5 days. Just get the best weapon and keep moving.

I had Ken’s Rage and wasn’t feeling it that much. I’d probably like 2 more maybe. But yeah IF i can find what i wanna delete I’m gonna probably re download Gundam Reborn…been needing to get a Gundam fix SOMEHOW lol

Ken’s rage 2 is straight up garbage.

Grinding out Warriors Orochi 1 and 2 to 100% on the PSP was worth it…

I know I sometimes play Warriors Orochi 3 over on my 360 to max lvl everyone else. I’m kinda at the point of just saving any time and love I have for WO3 on getting Ultimate for PS4.

And I’m not even bothering with Ken’s Rage seeing how bad everyone said it was here. I liked the first HnK to an extent.

Ken’s Rage 1 is gdlk.

Yup. I even mentioned that shit before. It would be dope. And with the number of Musous every character has, there’s enough room for at least 4 attacks. EX’s could be the lesser DB techniques, like the basic Kamehameha Wave. Rage could also be used as power ups.

Ken’s Rage 1 is super good, but its more of a beatemup than a musou, until you do the dream scenarios which are more musou-like

Awesome in any case

I need to finish everyone’s dream mode in Ken’s Rage 1. I remember my last run was with Jagi and I ended up enjoying just how stupid his playstyle was more than I expected.

Currently trying to grind out Pirate Warriors 3.

I 100% all story mode stages except for the one stage where I gotta fight Oars and Moriah…I don’t like using Brook.

I want to get all the coins required to level break the playable characters.

how different are the characters from their pw2 incarnations? Also what are the new systems, assuming there are some

I never played Pirate Warriors 2…so I can’t really gauge that for you.

I do know that Kizuna rush mode is new to the series.

Redownloaded Gundam Reborn last night, did a bit of stuff in Ultimate Mode…damn that shit was fun. Gonna be playing shit alot more. My only gripe with it is I believe the game doesn’t even have the all 5 main pilots from Wing I think? I’m like Wing has the smallest amount of reps possibly, but that’s due to Seed being so damn popular in Japan

Saw this in the Zelda thread and wanted to share it here. Tetra gameplay for Hyrule Warriors Legends

Really? Huge HNK fan here and i loved Ken’s Rage. Put in over 48 hours of gameplay, every scenario, character’s maxed out, etc. But then i retired from modern gaming a year or so later.

Kinda regret not playing the second one. So i’m not missing out much?

It’s good fan service. Lots of characters, but the gameplay and mechanics are just a shitty mix between DW and Ken’s rage 1 with each keep having a shitty minigame you need to do to do good on a stage.

Various Koei Tecmo games on sale via PSN this week…

Copped the Ninja Gaiden vita bundle. Haven’t tried the second, but the first one runs really smooth.

Dragon Quest Heroes is coming to Steam next month.

Kinda miffed about it actually…
