That’s somewhat of a relief. The proper ROTK/warring states/100 years’ war games may be heavily romanticized, but even they didn’t take creative liberties so far as to incorporate monsters & the like.

Been playing Pirate Warriors 2, pretty damn fun game, wish the characters were balanced a bit better, but at least everyone is really fun to play. Is it just me are all of Koei’s non-Dynasty/Samurai warriors games better?
They are balanced pretty well besides a few like Perona. She’s just terrible.
I dunno, I feel like characters like the Admirals are just better than everyone else. Like they’re A tier, everyone else is B, and then Perona is F lol
+1 for wanting a Bleach musou. Although with the amount of character creep the manga has there’d be more characters in a Bleach musou than the Orochi games. Sure they could cut down the roster but I feel like fans would want as many characters as possible.
The tier list for the game would be hilarious though.

Ah. Logia’s are just amazing in that game, and they all are S Tier.
Some non Logia’s are S tier too though like Kuma.
You’re missing Battle of Nanjun. It’s a Chapter 1 mission but you won’t be able to unlock it until you complete Mt. Ding Jun (redux) as Magoichi and Xiahou Ba are needed. You’ll unlock Xiahou Yuan when you clear it.

So when 8 Empires arrives, I really want them to have that Bench so I can make a black dude name him “I’M MAD!” And then go to town on shu.
Omega Force Japan tweeted that all DLC weapons released in DW8/XL will be made available in Empires…and that some characters will have their EX weapons changed to various DLC weapons.
Hopefully we get some trailers/gameplay footage at Tokyo Game Show.
No need for me to get the DLC weapons if DW8:Empires is confirmed coming to the West…
