So can we come to the conclusion that multi hitting weapons are king in this game due to the storm rush mechanic? being able to activate it during block on projectile moves is pretty silly.
This. Being able to be Prime Obi Wan fighting legions of droids/ anybody you wanna alternate universe in, would be sheer awesomesauce. Also with empire mode that lets you choose to fight for either side ala Rebellion style would be immense.

after playing more DW8 though, iām not a fan of most of the new characters included in this one. Outside of Guan Yingping and Wen Yan, everyone else is just kinda there or doesnāt show much interest.

Best part about Zhao Yun was dropping an infant Liu Shan on his head but not telling anyone about it when Zhao Yun was rescuing him at Changban. Would explain why Liu Shan grows up to become such a tool later in life.
As for the new characters. Once again guys like Cao Hong is ignored. The cousin of Cao Cao and series vet since DW2 stays relegated to generic officer status. I wouldnāt mind seeing more Nanman guys added in the future, like Dailai Dongzhu. Oh and every game needs a butt monkey, I know Guan Suo sorta fits the bill but that title is Ma Suās to lose. Cāmon Koei, add Ma Su already!
My issue is that Zhu Ran gets in before Cheng Puā¦and that Zhu Ranās design doesnāt make him look like an archer.
Then again, neither does Xiahou Yuan.
Lu Bu getting a more expanded storyline and what-ifs, and Chen Gong debutingā¦is okay in my book.

I also donāt like the fact there are a increasing number of pretty boys now over vets or officers that have been around for the majority of the storyline. (Cheng pu, Liao Hua, etc.) I get it but itās also kinda sad. (hell even Liu Beiās design has changed from a bearded man to pretty boy.)
I would like to see some more āotherā castmembers if just to increase their output in characters. Zuo Ci was the last āotherā character that was new right? That was back in DW5.
