Ampersand got his name along the lines of Mega Man X and Zero. Dr. Sub Zero is a genius and I’m sure he noticed the trend in Capcom names well before I did.
Incidentally, when we were looking at music for the 80s segment, I stumbled apon an old Saturday morning cartoon with a sidekick named Ampersand as well. I think it was Dungeons & Dragons.

Or maybe dogface playing x-men vs. street fighter in training mode because there’s nobody else in the world that still plays that game.
