So I just got an email saying I can preregister for Disney+ and gave me various plan options.
Has anyone else got this email?
No but I have thought about doing so. Right now it is a matter of cutting or trimming something else to make it fit.
I have as well. $6.99 per month or $70 for the year. Either way very tempted to sign up just for the Disney Afternoon options.

I had to do the same when I signed up. I cancelled my WWE Network sub for Disney.

I have only Netflix. It’s been my only streaming service for the last 10 years. I have it when it was still mostly disc based.
I was really happy when it had the Arrowverse shows and also the Netflix MCU shows in addition to stuff like Voltron,Bojack Horseman ,House of Cards, Kimmy Schmidt etc
However Netflix MCU is dead. Voltron,HOC,Kimmy have been cancelled. Arrowverse future seasons will not be added to Netflix.
I was thinking of considering the HBO supermax service since it will have Arrowverse and young justice /Doom patrol/Titans but since those shows seem to be coming to Blu-ray I’ll probably selectively get some of those shows in disc.
I’m going to wait till next year and see how people like the new Marvel shows on Disney plus bit it seems like I will get it as my new streaming service.
I’ll keep Netflix till New year’s and probably cancel it then.
Yeah. Pretty much the same. My sister got it when it first started waaaay back when. I was still in high school I think.
Outside of anime and the random comedy special I don’t really watch anything on there.
I didn’t like Bojack or Voltron. Netflix MCU wasn’t terrible but Luke Cage was the only one that really left me wanting more. Even then as soon as D+ was announced I knew they’d get snapped out so I no longer had a reason to follow any of them.
Most of their originals just don’t interest me, really. Outside of their “original” anime. Which is like 90+% of my queue

I got Amazon Prime, Netflix plus VRV and Funimation for anime dubs. I am probably going to scale back on my music subscription stuff as that will be easier to cut. But I will see about scaling back Netflix as well. In truth, my married siblings use my account more then I do so it might be time to share that burden.
Oh yeah. I forgot about Prime Video. I have that too. I don’t really use it though. I couldn’t even tell you another time I used it before The Boys was put on the service.
Maaaaaybe when the first put Eastbound and Down on there? I couldn’t even tell you when that was though.

Will there be different pricing if you want 4k or standard 1080p HD in your D+ ?

I have been sitting on Netflix/Hulu on the $1 and Prime. Honestly most of the family watches netflix but it’s a rarely on in my place besides binges of Aquanauts. Gotta find out how polar bears fish anyway due to my sons love for Peso.

Nope. D+ doesn’t have any plans based on resolution. The choices you get is paying monthly or annually.

As for other subscription services I have Hulu and Amazon Prime. My sister shares her Netflix account with me. Once D+ drops she gonna run my account info.
Pre-Registered for Disney+. Opting for the yearly billing instead of monthly. That may change but for now it seems much simpler and less headache inducing

This deal isn’t as good as when I signed up through D23. I paid $140. They added $30 to this deal.
