For the Grand Opening of this event we will be hosting a Super Street Fighter 4 tournament so that everyone can get a feel for the place and the equipment. Come out to check out this new godlike venue. We are in the works of converting this place into a LAN Center as well. We’re going to help bring Gears of War 1 back and provide another location for gamers of the New York Scene to compete and socialize in.

Take the 4 Train from any part of NYC to 14th Street Union Sq. Transfer to the L train to Bedford Ave. in Brooklyn. Walk up from N7 and Bedford ave. to Grand Street. Make a left and walk 2 blocks. (Map quest location for further details)

Casual Play will begin at 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm (Modern Warfare 2, Rock Band, DJ Hero, Tetris & Tatsunoko vs. Capcom)
Tournament will begin @ 3:00 p.m (Super Street Fighter 4)

Venue Fee: $10.00

Tournament: Fee $10.00

Rules:
Super Street Fighter 4
Winners, Losers and Grand Finals 3 out of 5 matches

Payout:
Super Street Fighter 4 Prizes will be paid out in Cash (7/2/1)

-70% for 1st Place
-20% for 2nd Place
-10% for 3rd Place

At the grand opening I will announce schedules of tournaments and events at this location for the month of June. The events will range from tournaments, to gaming parties, Schooling/Dojo for those who want to learn how to play like a professional to Sponsorship try outs and more. Members from the Empire will be on hand to meet and greet gamers from all around the city such as IFC Yipes, Sanford Kelly, Andre Lambert, DragonGod, Dieminion and Kreymore.

I will be hosting the first Tournament being held Saturday June 5th, i will update with new details about what particular games will be held that week and start times.

BattleField Arcadia is exclusive to Game Pad for 1 year so its not going anywhere. This new venue is to provide games for other gamers in other genres that’s all. This is not just about Street Fighter…this is about gaming.

I’ve never been to one of these things so I just need something cleared up. I just have pay $10 and I can play casuals and still watch tournament play right?

Triforce I’ll definetly be there. Is there any chance we can get Gears of war1 casuals there. My brother is very good and very dedicated to that game and he is looking for a way into the pro-gaming circuit. LOL…its the only game he played since it came out.

Hey i would like to know what system is ssf4 gonna be on? do we have to bring our own arcade sticks? I’m a newbie who is trying to become much better at his game. so i think what your doing here is cool. Bk doesn’t get much love for these kinds of things.

Not today unfortunately because its the grand opening and we will not have enough to LAN yet. We are working on converting this gaming center into a LAN Center. Everything will be revealed at the Grand Opening. In 2 weeks we will start having the shooters set up.

There should be parking. I don’t drive so I don’t want to tell you A when its really B.

For now it will be on Xbox.
