Damn. It’s over. It’s done. The greatest comic in history has come to an end. I couldn’t help but feel kind of empty today. I got a little misty eyed reading all the extras at the end. Way isn’t doing too bad with Wade so far, but it lacks ANY of Nescia’s sophistication. So long, old friend. I shall miss you.

If I remember right, Cable has described DP’s voice more than once as a gravely Demi Moore type (what that sounds like is beyond my imagination). Plus the DP in Marvel Ultimate Alliance sounded like Michelangelo from TMNT. All and all, Reynolds is so fucking hilarious as is, I don’t think he even has to modify his voice for the role.

I thought #50 was pretty much perfect (Sumo Alex Haden FTW!). All I could ask more for was a guest appearance by Taskmaster and maybe some info on Deadpool’s new series.

…and yeah i AGree, Taskmaster, Constrictor and Syren should’ve appeared as well, would’ve been more interesting, but it looks like Marvel threw the whole Syren relationship down the drain.

Wow…I just heard that Ryan Reynolds is cast as Deadpool in the new Wolverine movie. It’s a beautiful thing.
RR is perfect for DP - He’s got the build and the comedic ‘zing’ - one of those few times you almost think a actor was designed for a role. The question is - how bad does MArvel blow the movie…
