SCII is probably the best out of the series, imo. I mean, I liked SCIII and frankly I’m best at SCIV, but the game system was pure and simple in SCII. SCV is looking like SCIV, but instead of Critical Finishers, they’ve got Ultras lol. I’m actually kinda interested to see how that pans out though.
How was CG? Couldn’t make it; I had work and other stuff today.
SC1 and SC2 are the only ones worth playing. SC4 is decent and playable, but nowhere near as fun.
Looks like a lot of MK heads are gonna be at Xan this Weds. If I can make it, I’ll run a tourney. No entry fee, double elim, PS3 only. Might even bring a cam to record matches. We’ll see.
Would be boss if Rugal and/or HAV could let us jack the stream for finals. I know it’s AE day and all, but it would be classy. Let me know, sirs.

I’m gonna try to come Wednesday. I’ve been super busy at work and keep getting caught up. I’m up right now trying to figure out if I can edit the BIOS on an HP laptop so it’ll let me boot Linux CDs. Not fun. Fuck HP.
I’m still planning on looking for my copy of Battle Assault 2. Someone bring a save file if they have it. It’ll save me from looking for memory cards.

NBA finals are good this year, but going to a bar is a bit annoying. No one really appears to be a fan of either team, just bandwagan bitches that have no idea who is on the team. I root for wherever my money is, though I always have a soft spot for Kidd.
I feel ya dude. Something’s been up with my laptop ever since I upgraded to Ubuntu 10.10; whenever I use the latest kernel build my computer experiences massive slowdown. HP and Linux don’t play well apparently. However, you should be able to boot from a CD just fine. Just edit the boot order like any other BIOS. If it won’t boot from a CD drive, then put the .iso onto a USB stick and boot from there.
Tried that. HP uses some weird proprietary BIOS manager on their dv series. Any distro Linux Live CD will not boot from it, nor will Live USBs. The only CDs that the BIOS will recognize as bootable are Windows installation or recovery discs, and I can’t use those to edit the master boot record of this new hard drive because Windows won’t let you have control of the hard drive to that level while it’s the active OS. This is nothing but HP flicking off advanced users. -__-
Of course, I don’t have any computers set up tonight where I can run a temp copy of Ubuntu with internet access (too late to run an ethernet cable) so this stuff will have to wait till tomorrow, putting me further behind and lowering my Xanadu chances.

BBCS2 has been out for a few weeks now. It’s an automatic update patch that happens when you load the game up.
