But I thought Vegas had all the fine ass hoes? :sad: But on the real, you are one of the better tournament organizers in the community. Some people donât know but Robin made a couple of Gametime tournaments work even when more people showed up than normal. And trust me, GT was a small ass arcade.

Robing threw a tournament, got much larger turn-out than expected.
Tournaments didnât finish. Top 8 split instead.

WHEN THE FUCK did this whole team tournament concept start?? I mean a SSF4 or mvc3 team tournamentâŚreally. Its dumb an waste time. I remember (sorry to sound old again) when IF there was a team tournament it was done AFTER the tournies were done. meh⌠times have changed i guess.
People need to feel good about themselves so theyâve gotta team up to have a chance at winning.
i never really understood why team tourneys get priority either. shit should always be after. i mean theyre fun but yeah a waste of time imo. esp if it comes first. the way its structured, it basically comes down to who has the better anchor, and becomes an anchor vs anchor tourney.

Pretty much. I remember when a team tourny was like a special event done after the tourny was done. Imagine that with CvS 2 BEFORE a tourny started⌠sweet lord. Also if u want to make it REALLY fun an not that âwhomever is on (insert top player) team is gonna winâ do the olâ people sign up an you get randomly selected on a team. again⌠times have changed i guessâŚ
i just find it appalling when a tourny has wasted precious time trying to handle team tournaments an singles at the same time. its dumb. Then want to rush the fucc outta everyone when there is a time crunchâŚ
Last I checked none of the team tournaments were played out. Just tournament lasted longer than desired for some people who showed up. Honestly if we actually had started on time (hahahaha) we would have actually finished the tournaments by 2 AM. The spacing wasnât too great either, there were definitely times where machines went unused just because it was clustered, and there were just cases where people lost, took their stuff and left.
As for team tournaments, thanks to all these events happening such as the Xanbats and other weeklys, you should feel a little bit of pride when the people you play with often are doing well. Personally, I liked MD over NC for free, and would have loved the rights to smack them around for a bit. MD vs VA would have been fun too.
TV Tip: Do not allow anyone to bring a sony tv to a tournament. Especially a bravia.
