I think the last 5 weeks of non stop tournaments has burned me out on watching marvel, mainly because at least 2 of the fav five are on every team (wolverine, wesker, dante, sentinel, akuma) and phoenix is phoenix, I don’t even care who wins anymore. watching wolverine vs wolverine at the start of every match has become mind numbing.
Still fun to play though.
Makoto fights Yang really well. How does a Makoto player complain about Yang getting good offense on a knockdown?

MVC2 suffered from the same sort of things though, still does. I thought it was OK if all picks were the same because “it’s Mahvel”.
Its seems like there are more viable characters in 3 than it was with 2 depending on your team setup.
Congrats also to Viscant for his MvC3 victory with Phoenix…lol this shit is too funny. Can’t wait for EVO.

I’ve been trolling with her online a bit. She’s a lot of fun to play. Standing strong and roundhouse beat random lunge punches to death. Standing fierce beats random dive kicks. I love it. I kinda feel like the twins shouldn’t really give her much trouble.
Even in 3S, Makoto could always hang with the twins. I also found it real interesting that Yun’s lunge punch actually beats Yang’s U2.
I can see it, I don’t think Yun’s U2 is invincible to anything except projectiles.
Anyway, China can’t handle Makoto’s big ass feet.
