the stuff you mentioned is a given too and you even said that blocking is what decided most matches. Im not sure if blocking is new to you or what, but thats a pretty obvious thing that seperates the tier levels.

While it’s also on my mind, I also want to say this:

After going to Winter Brawl and Final Round, the “high-level” Marvel I’ve been seeing isn’t really that much better than the stuff some people here on the home front are working with. DMV has the potential to be real solid at Marvel if we make a commitment to it and keep in touch with nearby regions…

Good points Xeleion. I understand many of your points and agree in many respects. Hopefully we can pull together for such. I’m definitely hope to be apart of the building process of establishing a more solid DMV and unified DMV community.

We need to hold a think tank night with people from DC, MD, and VA to discuss how best to do it. I for one would like to have more than just one gaming night on the weekend at Xanadu. Maybe like a weekend game nigh held in each region, one in DC, one in MD, one in VA. That way we have three big community events a month to help each other get better at MvC 3. I mean you can level up online but nothing can replace the intensity you feel gaming with the community in person.
