I can kinda see where he was coming from. If two American players flew to Japan to play, you wouldnât want them playing each other first round. Ideally, you want to give each region a chance to shine. That being said, Flip doesnât have to whine. After going to Winter Brawl and Final Round, the âhigh-levelâ Marvel Iâve been seeing isnât really that much better than the stuff some people here on the homefront are working with. DMV has the potential to be real solid at Marvel if we make a commitment to it and keep in touch with nearby regions.
-Learn how to block Wolverine. If you can block him you can block Zero.
-Learn how to snap-back kill Phoenix, beat her out of her transformation, or lame her out.
-Learn how to read Magneto. His stuff is fast but not unseeable. Those overheads and lows can be reacted to.
-Be creative. It seems to me that itâs more beneficial to find your own shit in the lab than it is to use played out YouTube combos.
-Short combos that lead into resets and tech traps are a higher level of play than the majority of the people who made top 16 at both tourneys. I shit you not, 90% of those matches were decided by who could outblock the other and who got caught pushing buttons.
-Seriously, only Justin is using solid setups.
