Yes, you can play any music on this game. First, let me explain you how you do that (assuming you’re on PS3: I have no idea on how to do it on 360, but I think that’s pretty similar).
Press the PS Button.
Move to the ‘‘Music’’ tab, which is on the left side.
Select whatever song you want to play.
To confirm, press X.
Enjoy!

How I roll: I use the ‘‘as or vs. X’’ when it’s 1v1. Otherwise, I go with what I use for the stages.
On the Xbox, you press the home button, scroll to the right one tab, click “Select Music”. Pick your storage device from the next menu, then pick your song. Set it to loop or it will only play once. You can’t make a playlist while in-game, you have to do it outside the game.
