Hey, Million, I feel you on Vegeta’s If Story Super Buu was a serious pain to kill. I lost a few times so I didn’t get the extra story. but I did see a few extra stories with other fighters. The fight with Super Buu was just like the one in the anime against Kid Buu - long and tiresome.
I love how huge energy attacks just totally wipe out little kid blast waves. Or when two huge energy attacks collide the cancel each other out. I DO wish the Kamehameha Wave was blue though, but that’s nitpicking.
And you’re rigth, Krillin’s Destructo Disc is painfully inaccurate. I have a hard time hitting my opponents with it. That one energy attack where he shots that big ball of energy and it splits up and hammers the enemy owns the DD.
Even the power differences in this game rock. LV 3 Krillin can still get hammered by LV1 Gotenks. Just make sure you beat him FAST before the fusion wears off.:bluu: Vegtio>>>>>>>>>>>>Gotenks on SOOOOOOOO many levels.
Well I finally got the Hawk Tourney under way in Mega Man Battle Network 4. I’m fighting some punk named Crusher. This guy has 800 HP AND he constantly calls in viruses to do his dirty work. This battle wouldn’t be so hard if he didn’t call in some flunkies all the time. Also in case anyone hasn’t heard about the Dark Chips, they give you lots of powers like 400 damaging Canon shots or 1000 HP recovery. The down side is that they cost you. Big time. You perminitly lose 1 HP and the more you use them the more currput MegaMan’s soul becomes. Keep using the chips and he’ll darken in appearence and eventuall go totally out of control. I’m wondering should I hacve used that 1000 HP recover Dark Chip because I had Crusher down to 78 HP. The lowest he has ever gotten. It was very tempting to use it but I held off because I didn’t wanna suffer the consequences. As of this post I still have not beaten Crusher and have tried dozens of times.
BTW Metal Man is also in the tourney and he looks so stinking sweet.
I’ve just started playing La Pucelle Tactics again. Great game, I love the characters. Prier has some HUGE ass thighs.
I have to beat a bunch of games before I go to college, Front Mission 4, Disgaea, La Pucelle, and maybe FFX again. Can’t have RPGs bog down my schooling.
I’m trying out this ol’ skool game (cuz I’m all about the ol’ skool) called Discworld…real interesting stuff here. Does anyone here know how to get a soundblaster dependent game to work on windows2000?
I just beat Castlevania: Lament of Innocence this weekend, and I must say I liked the game. Not my fave CV game mind you(Bloodlines holds that honor), but it’s a decent game worth playing.
And for all you little pussies out there whining “it’s not a real Castlevania game like SOTN!”, you can lick my ass. The first CV game, CVIII, CV IV, Dracula X, Bloodlines, and Rondo of Blood did not have any of the Metroid-Vania gameplay either and they are bonified real Castlevania games, so get over it.
I’m also working hard on Rallisport 2, my favorite racing game of all time. I’ve gone all the way through the career mode on champion, and came in first in all the races, I’m just down to the last race literally and I’m done with that. It’s easy enough to complete the races, but coming in first is not always easy, but it’s fun nonetheless.
man i really suck at dbz:ssw…
how do you guys get used to attacking? i feel like everything i do is blocked (but not enough to guardbreak) and when i swing heavy to break i get countered…
i’m such a scrub
Word. I like the Castlevania games with the straightforward stage to stage action better anyway. But I always thought LoI was another SOTN. Because you have to:
>Read a map
>End up in rooms with multiple paths, so you always gotta make choices. Whatever path you take, you’re wondering, “Is this the right way I’m going and am ready for it?”
I’m sure that’s just certain enemies with better AI regarding melee combat. Still, it pays to hold off on the strong hits until you see the opening…keep doing weak hits as fast as possible, and cpu should get blocked if he’s trying to hit you at that time…if it goes for a strong hit and is blocked, of course that’s prime time to hit him with a strong hit or strong ki-blast, naturally.
Then there’s the option of just doing the special moves over and over…in an attempt to “cheap” the cpu out. Unfortunately this doesn’t really work well against Goku or SuperBuu, since they love to dash around all day long. SuperBuu also has fast regeneration, so it’s an even worse idea on him.
At least in Goku’s case, I’ll let off some weak ki shots, and then wait a second…he’ll try to come to me or go for a special. If he comes at me, I hit him with a strong ki blast. If he goes for a special, I just dash away from that…or tag the other person in or whatever to escape the attack.
Also…if it’s supersaiyan Goku…fire off weak ki shots IMMEDIATELY as the battle starts. ssjGoku will always start off the fight with Kamehameha. The weak shots will actually hit him before he can do that move…and he’ll go into his annoying dash-around-the-screen pattern.
this game brings out the mashing scrub in me
so i watch the computer and it always blocks first…so i was thinknig “ok i’ll try that too” and they always do the close up unblockable…or they tap with light and then unblockable.
deep inside me something is screaming “OMG STOP THROWING ME YOU CHEAP WHORE”
I’m on level 7 in Ninja Gaiden and I simply can’t beat that bitch Alma:mad: I have no healing items and I’m playing it on hard mode so I have to be flawless in order to not get my ass handed to me.
I finally got my stupid Chao to mature and I finished all the Beginner’s Races. I still have to raise him another 20 lvls in all categories before I can finish the Jewel Races and get the last 5 emblems.
Goddamn I hate Chao. The only reason that I’m bothering with this at all is because I want to play as Metal Sonic. It also helps that I turned the Mystic Ruins garden into a Chao Abuse Center, where I take Amy or Knux and beat the shit out of the six regular Chao that you start with. I also starve them.
ive recently borrowed Onimusha 1/2 and Resident Evil Code Veronica
Ive finished Oni 1 and im halfway through 2 (i think). Both are good games. First game took me 6:06 to beat on Normal. So far im 3 hrs into oni2 with jubei on the sacred flute portion
Oldie question: Can anyone beat the tranquilizer Gold Challenge in Perfect Dark? That challenge was a bitch. That thing relies on pure reflex as you have to take out 8(approx) consecutive targets with 8 shots with 8 secs on the clock. Anyone who pulled that off deserves props. Same goes for the platform/target games in SSB64 with jigglypuff
Just finished Megaman 2 on normal for the boss guide, difficult shouldn’t take nearly as long (all I need is some data), then its off to my favourite, Megaman 3
I hardly think that’s retro, but yeah I beat all of those weapon challenges. I think the hardest one was the Sniper Rifle, but its been a while so I can’t remember too well. For some reason to this day, I STILL haven’t beaten the Chicago Streets mission on Perfect Agent. Maybe I should try tonight.
Ah Perfect Dark. Good times, good times. IMO it is still the best FPS multiplayer game.
I played some DBZ: SW today and discovered Freiza’s best move: Blow up the whole dumb planet!! I was surprised when I saw a countdown show up on the screen and when it reached zero BOOM!!! Even the mighty LV 3 Mystic Gohan who had full healthy died instantly!!! The draw back is that it takes away your energy but it is well worth it.
So true. People complain that Halo is better, but I prefer my Laptop Guns that stick to walls, “proximity pinball” Grenades, mines, and most of all…my Farsight. No gun in Halo (or any other FPS) can touch Farsight. Nothing.
