wicked child in chronicles was ok, but god damn that club remix of vampire killer in arranged mode was kinda off track haha.
the thing that disappointed me slightly about chronicles was how different it kind felt compared to the castlevanias before it. i mean didnt it come out the same year after drac x came out? it just feels/looks so weird and less effort compared to drac x, even if its a slight remake of cv1 it should have been much better.
Calling all Compilation fans!! On Sept. 27/28th, Capcom will be releasing the Capcom Classics Collection. The game features Street Fighter II, 1942, Ghouls & Ghosts, Bionic Commando, Gunsmoke and many other titles. The game will cost a cool $20.
Sadly, currently trying to finish KOTOR 1 finally. Played a Shadow of the Colossus demo at GameStop and I loved it so much I ordered Ico online, waiting for it to come in the mail. Anyone ever play Ico?
Also still havent finished Metroid Prime 2 and play FFXI every now and then.
All I can say about Burnout Revenge (on Xbox) is that it is the finest racing game ever made.
Aside from simplified online statistics, I have no complaints with it. Until PGR3 comes out, this is the only racer ill be playing. And hell, i’ll be playing PGR3 in addition to this, not instead of
Good old Mega Man Anniversary Collection. Started playing Mega Man 3 last night. Best Mega Man game. Ever. Anyway, I killed Magnet Man, Hard Man and Top Man before calling it a night. I can’t believe the number of hits I took when fighting Break Man (Proto Man) in Hard Man’s stage. I’ve worked that out to where I can usual have a flawless fight against him. But then you when don’t fight in on a flat surface, it is a little more difficult. I’m about to off Shadow Man right now. Man, his tune is ownage. It’s like 8-bit jazz/pop. Anyone else think Shadow Man could kick the crap outta Metal Man? He’s a friggin’ NINJA for crying out loud! I’m honestly still baffeled as to how people would say Metal Man would win if the fought.
Evil Dead: Regeneration! And it was only $20, release price too.
So far, pretty entertaining, though I’m getting sick of every 3rd Person Hack-n-Slash having to rip off Dante’s DT form. But on the bright side, combat is pretty fun, with the overall selection of moves and combos being much more extensive than in the previous two games. Also, in addition to the King of Camp, Bruce Campbell himself, voicing Ash, we’ve got a new sidekick voiced by Ted Raimi along for the ride. Yep, Ted Raimi himself. And the game sticks pretty close to the Army of Darkness style. So all in all, I’m pretty satsified, especially with the cheap price tag.
Capcom Classics Collection is almost upon us!! SFII, SFII: CE, SFII: Turbo, 1942, 1943, Final Fight (Arcade version!!), Ghosts & Goblins, Gouls & Ghousts, Super Ghouls & Ghosts, Bionic Commando, (arcade ver.), Commando, Gunsmoke, and so many more games. 20+ games for $20 is a freaking STEAL!! If you have a PS2 or an Xbox, you’re good to go!!
As soon as my sinuses clear up, I’m gonna try some of the tougher songs in DDRMAX2. (Moving around too much casues my sinuses to go outta whack when they start acting up. Ugh.) I’ve yet to get the AAA rank on any song. I think I was close on one but I botched it up towards the end.
I got some more planets on Meteos. Planets with low level gravity are your friends!
:pleased:
I just softmodded my xbox so I got a crapload of games to play. Right now I’m playing Jet Set Radio Future. I LOVED Jet Grind Radio on the Dreamcast, so its good to finally play the sequel.
Welcome back, FighterX. The game ships on the 27th of Sept. so it will probably be in stores on the 28th.
Still playing Mega Man 3 on MMAC. Just capped the Mega Man clone(s) and now I’m about to off those 8 robot masters. Again. Man the Dr. Wily music in MM3 is tight, especially stage 3-4. I love MM2’s Wily sage music, but screw it. It has nothing on MM3 Wily stage music.
I think after Christmas I’ll be picking up the DS. I played Nintendogs for a while on Saturday and had alot of fun with it. Phoenix Wright:Ace Attorney, Meteos,Sonic and some GBA games like Astroboy are looking pretty sweet to me right now but with school I want to focus on that more.
As far this current gen of consoles go Okami, Shadow and the Colussus, and MGS3: Subsistence are about it for me and then I’m done with games on the current gen consoles. I’ll start saving up for the Revolution. I know it’s too early to call but if the games are there I will be there at the midnight sale for this no doubt.
The PS3 right now is only good for MGS4 and even then I can wait until the “directors cut” version comes out a year later. I don’t see Virtua Fighter 5 coming out for the PS3 anytime soon either, so by the time those two games are out, the PS3 should be cheap and worth it. My .02 on the PS3.
