The "Currently Playing" Game Thread-Discuss Your Games, Vent, Give Props, etc

I do not own a DC.

My fav sonic is Sonic 3 w/ S&K attatched,

co-fucking-sign…
Well, that and Heroes. I’m in the minority there, but I loved it.

Buy Sonic Mega Collection + and unlock it. Contains classic sonic games…

I know. My little brother has it, i play it all the time when he’s not home…

Damn, Advance Wars is owning me. I wish that someone else at work has a DS so I can proceed to own that person with my tactical genius.

I got enough money to buy another puppy in Nintendogs, so I bought a chihuahua and named him Roy. Now Hector has someone to play with when the DS is off… though I’m not really sure if they actually do anything when the DS is off. Whatever.

]Zone of The Enders: The Fist of Mars
[*]ZOIDS Legacy[/list]

I’m gearing up for the release of Nightmare Troubadour, replaying Fist of Mars because it’s one of the best and most underrated RPGs portables have to offer, and Zoids just to see what it’s all about.

I love my flash cart. It’s so damn sexy.

Guys, I have an important announcement to make. Along with Viewtiful Joe 2 (which, I snagged for $14.99 new), I picked up…

my very first Dance Dance Revolution game!!

I’ve been wanting to get into DDR for years now but never got around to picking up one of it’s many versions. I got DDR Max 2 for the PS2. Funcoland didn’t have the first DDR Max and I wasn’t sure if I’d like DDR Extreme’s songs as much as I’d like the ones in DDR Max 2. Now I just need a dance pad and I’ll be able to post about how much I suck!!

Well, I’ve given up on the lvl 4 Challenges in KoF:MI. Utter horseshit. I can’t finish one, not one. Whcih sucks, because I wanted that cool-looking Cemetary stage… But no! Challenges have to be completely bullshit impossible hard. blergh!

Also, Billy Hatcher continues to be kinda meh. If you’re looking for a platformer and it’s less than $15, maybe pick it. The game isn’t really terrible, just really blah. Nothing much stands out, though there are some really stupid-looking animals and some noticable framerate drops and slow-down.

Yesterday on lunch—DBZ SuperSonic Warriors — Freeza =51,370,000 powerlevel!

Hulk Ultimate Destruction is out already, apparently. I urge any and all even Hulk fans…even casual ones…to buy it immediately…or at least when there’s a price drop. Even if you don’t like Hulk at all…just get it for the absolute destruction of everything in the game.

Completely off topic --Gwen Stefani vid on… ah…she just looks better every time I see her…she’s totally stalkable…

How is that Hulk game? Everyone is telling me I have to get it, but the demo I played…controls seemed a bit sloppy. Maybe I’m just spoiled by God of War.

What is a flash cart and how do you get one / use one. kthnx

Well, I did some more research on Geist and I think YellowS4 is right. It sounds generic and sub-par. So I think maybe I’ll pick up Darkwatch instead.

Though I still need to finish Billy Hatcher…:bluu:

Playing Breath of Fire II (SNES) as I’m typing this post. Currently on Mt. Rocko ready to pick on the “Joker Group”

Man, Sonic CD is teh rockorrxxxss!! But I have a hard time holding on to rings because I don’t know the levels very well. And I can never get those blasted Time Stones!! Every time you touch the water in the special stages, you lose a lot of time. The music is amazing stuff as well. I haven’t heard the original Japanese tracks but the score in the American version is pretty tight. But just to shut up all the whinners, I wish Sonic Team would have included it.

Anyway, I think I just got past the Wacky Workbench Zone (weird name). And Time Attack mode rules. All Sonic games should have had Time Attack mode. I’m surprised the only 2D Sonic game to make use of one was Sonic CD.

Sonic Advance 3 has a Time Attack mode. IIRC, the first Advance does too, but I haven’t played that one in quite a long time, so I may be wrong there.

I’ve had it with Billy Hatcher. This game sucks, and I’m taking it to the Game X-change tomorrow after work. The camera angles are crappy, combat is just plain annoying and not fun at all, the save system sucks because it forces you to beat the entire level a second time if you miss an item, most of hte animals look retarded, and I’m just in general sick of putting up with those and the other myriad of minor nuisances about the game just because a few of the actual jumping segments are fun.

^I never got the appeal of that Billy Hatcher…perhaps it’s only cool if you’re 11 or something…but I had a bad first impression of it from the beginning, way back on the demo that included Viewtiful Joe. Character design was just laughably bad, imo…and it didn’t seem fun at all. I quickly went back to playing the VJ part of that demo, and never looked back.

Picked up Hulk this morning after work. My initial impressions from the demo were wrong, this game kicks fucking ass.

Playing through JSRF again. This game is so much fun. I hope sega doesn’t stop making the series.

Cant wait for Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes. The first game did what dynasty warriors has yet to do; make you feel like a leader of an army.

Ooo, good choice!! Did you ever beat that game? The ending was one of the most surprising and most shocking endings in any RPG I’ve played. Totally.
:pleased:
