Ok,i need help in killer7,im at the end of the amusement park level, and im fighting that boss, ayame blackburn. The question is,wat do i have to do,just shoot her,(goddamn shes fast),or some type of puzzle activity or something? Can someone help me?
So I picked up Jak 2. I don’t like it very much. Jak & Daxter was a fairly original platformer. It was fun and kinda quirky.
Jak 2 took the very basics of the first game, threw it into a GTA clone, and added Dante’s DT form just to be safe.:lame:
Really, this plays just like GTA, except that you’re a hero working for various underground resistances, rather than a crook working for various gangs. Jak has a gun now. You steal hover-cars. Run money between your primary resistance cell and a sympathetic bartender. Kill guards. The works.
And Dark Jak. WTF is this shit? It just wouldn’t be complete is they didnt bite off the DMC series, too.
Jesus. The first game worked. Why did we get this crap for a sequel?
EDIT: In other news, I have nothing else to do. So I’ll prolly still beat it once just to see the story. God, I’m lame.
That’s exactly how I felt about Prince of Persia 2. THough it wasn’t a gta clone per say, but they tried to make that shit darker and “more mature”. I liked it when the environments were full of light and the game wasn’t so freaking dark and bloody.
Check it out, guys, I’m not dead!! I moved into my first apartment a few weeks ago but I haven’t gotten Road Runner yet. My pop was kind enough to let me use his computer.
Anyway, I’ve been playing a lot of Final Fantasy II on my DS. I’ve already logged more than 30 hours into this baby. The combat system was a bit tricky at first but now I understand it. Firion, Maria and Guy all have over 2000 HP. Maria’s Cure spell is at level 11, Firion is pretty good with Protect, and Guy is the man when it comes to Fire. Right now I’m looking for the White Mask and Minwu so I can get the coveted Ultima Tome. Holy is at level 7 right now for Maria and its just started getting slower to level it up now.
As for the actually story, I’m interested to see things through to the end. I already know what happend to Leon, why he’s missing and all. The game hasn’t told me but I know. I wonder if the Famicom version of FFII was like this remake on the GBA. SPOILERS!!! There was this funny scene where “Princess Hilda” asks to speak with Firion alone and then gets on the bed. Firion asks what’s going on and she says she doesn’t liked to be teased so Firion walks over to “Hilda” and she turns into a snake like creature. The rest of the party busts in. After the fights over Firion asks how much of the scene did Leila see and she says something like “Enough to know that you shouldn’t be letting down your guard around the laddies.” I was crackin’ up. END SPOILERS
FFII has been keeping me hooked. I haven’t even touched Meteos yet.
you have to shot her when she is in the light…the other times she is invisible and bullets will go through her…you can only shot her when she runs by the light…
if you have powered up Con’s gun power i would suggest using him because he shots very fast and you are less likely to miss…
you will have to shot her a lot of times though, i was using Dan who had like level 4 power for his gun and it took quite a few shots…
I agree with you on this about Jak 2. I wanted to get into a platform game and bought this on a whim during christmas but just couldn’t. Maybe I"m just terrible at it but I found the hover car missions quite difficult.
Whats the first game like? Is it the same at all or just a normal platformer
I enjoyed all the Jak games, but Ratchet and Clank is the flagship PS2 platformer imo. It’s just more fun to blow things up.
I’m currently playing Morrowind. It’s painfully easy now since I’ve been leveling the same file for years, but it helps pass the time until Oblivion is released on the Xbox 360. Have you guys seen the screenshots? It looks amazing.
I bought Viewtiful Joe 2 the other day for Gamecube, it’s a fun game but I’m wondering if there is something wrong with my copy. I get a lot of slowdown when using the Slow VFX power and comboing enemies. I’m not talking about the normal slow effect but it feels like framerate slowdown.
I never experienced it in the original game, at least it was rare when it happened there.
Playing through meteos now. Damn this game is awesome. So very very addictive. How many planets are there to unlock. Current goal was to achieve atleast 50 000 points on each planet in deluge. Guess I’ll have to gain a higher goal since I just achieved that while taking a dump.
yeah, i finally got around to getting the swap magic discs so i could play it. the game is tight as shit and it comes with a fold out that has all directions in english on one side. I also started playing the original King’s Field with the breaker pro disc. The music in the game is nice as hell and the game itself is quite good if you take it for what it is (a pre-U.S. launch psx title)
Played my NGPC for the first time in forever all day yesterday at work and this system kicks all asses. SNK vs. Capcom and KOF-R2 are crack. Sonic is still pretty cool as well as Metal Slug.
I’m thinking about picking up a DS soon, but I’m not too sure yet. Probably wait alittle while longer.
Played and beat Xenosaga Ep. 2. I don’t know, but for me this one was MUCH more tolerable than the crapfest that is Ep. 1…Sure, the cutscenes weren’t as polished, and some of the voices did indeed suck (I’m looking at you, KOS-MOS), but it was more FUN. They didn’t force you to go places as much, there were a good amount of side-quests (some of 'em were dumb, but still enjoyable) and best of all, POST-GAME SECRET DUNGEONS!!!
Instead of the Ep. 1 formula for 90% of the game: “Show some KOS-MOS dick waving, show whiny-ass Shion get wet from said dick waving, and game over. By the way, did we mention you can’t play your clear file?! BWAHAHAHAHA…”
We got in Ep. 2: (Note: Spoilers)
Much less involvement from Shion or her oversized vibrator, Allen FINALLY getting some recognition from the bitch, more focus on badass people (read: chaos, Jin, Jr.) some good Gear-esque ass-kickery in the E.S., more Albedo (who is the man, and you know it), bosses that you actually have to work to defeat (Ep. 1 players, you know you used Erde Kaiser on the final boss, admit it) and last but not least, we finally know who it is we’re fighting! Yay! (Note: Cool points to the Testaments for their Grahf-esque appearances and mannerisms, like standing on top of their E.S.)
Phew. That’s my analysis…I actually care about this series now, thanks to this game. Still sucks hose water compared to the legendary Xenogears but then again, many games do.
