Just beat Ephraim’s side of Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones… i give it 2 thumbs up. Wayy up.

Man I’m playing NBA Ballers right now…

This game is like 50 times better than what i expected it to be…

The rags to riches is very good…

And 1 on 1 on 1 gets everyone heated in a close game…

if you are sick of NBA Street pick this game up pronto!..

:smokin:

just got home from buying battlefield 2, cant wait to check out the chinese. going to install it on my laptop in a sec

omg i just got a GBA & Fire Emblem Sacred Stones!!

Still doing Eirika’s part, man its a sweet game.
But Seth is too good right now, he takes like no damage and always attacks twice lol…

What do you mean “ephraims side”? Are there other sides besides his?

Hello people!

What’s up? I’ve not been in this thread for a while - I’m deployed overseas, but I still manage to get a little game time in…

Currently playing: 3rd Strike, Raiden Project, KOF 2k3, KOF 2k2.

Oh shit, FighterX is back from the dead!

Eh, I don’t recommend using Seth in the earlier levels. He starts out a pretty high level and hogs up all the experience points that should be going towards your other units. Bench him for now and bring him out in the later chapters.

But hes so cool…riding his horse and all :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll give that a try though…see how it goes

fuck SHINOBI the game fuck it to hell fuck all who thinks its good just fucken it all fuck that game. The aracde game is a some sort of evil device sent from hell to fuck with our minds god I hate that fucken game dammit I cant pass it god its so annoying being killed so fast.

Id rather go back to playing Battletoads.

I just beat Bangai-O. The last level is a motherfugging BITCH!

You have to defeat the first version of the alien motherbrain, then you go to the torture room that is normally the second room on the ship. That’s the last room.

Oh, and bazooka guy and grenade guy are pretty good, too. They can kill the boss much faster. But for most of the area, I find shield guy to be better.

Ha, yeah! I left the country about 2 months ago - hopefully I’ll be back home early September.

Oh snap. Fighter X in da hoooouse!!

Since you haven’t been around lately, I’m not “Famicom” anymore.

Hee hee, thanks, but no thanks- R&C doesn’t seem to have any ‘life’ in the stages, it’s just killing the enemies with very little interaction, plus I don’t like Ratchet, but I do like Clank.

Oh & now I’m playing KoF 94: ReBout on the PS2, along with the Darkstalkers Collection & The Rumble Fish  Viren & Garnet OWN!

Sorry to bring up an old debate, but I have now actually had some experience with the first game and have a rebuttal.

The first game’s difficulty is uneven too. It took me 12 tries to beat Phantom the first time you meet him, and 7 to beat the first Shadow that you encounter. But I took Nelo Angelo down the first time I got there, and Griffon on the second attempt. The difficulty in the first game is just as rubberband as in 3.

Shop items are just as retardedly expensive as in 3 as well. Okay, a Vitality Star doesn’t cost as much. But weapon upgrades are more expensive and you make money slower in this one. It took me five missions to get Alastor fully upgraded, as opposed to the one mission each in 3.

But anyway, it is still a good game. I am very much enjoying myself. I just feel that the original is just as rubberband in terms of difficulty and retarded in terms of shop item cost as 3 is. Personally, I liked 3 better. The combat system is more fun, IMO, and there is a better selection of weapons.

Also, I love how Al from VJ is exactly like the Alastor from DMC. When I found the sword with the bat-wing hilt sticking out of the wall, and it said “I am Alastor! The weak shall give their hearts and swear their eternally loyalty to me!” I almost shit myself. Al says the same thing in VJ2 when he transforms. And then when I started doing Vortex and Air Raid and High Voltage and Round Trip… It was good.

In other news, I’m a total nerd.:bgrin:

Whoa! Fighter X is still with us afterall. Welcome back, dude!

I forgot to post that I beat Metal Slug X Sunday night. It was cool how you ended up joining forces to defeat the aliens that turned traitor on the bad guys. Never could trust those extratur-whatcha-magems. The game has some nice extras like Combat School. This is one of this games I’ll pop in from time to time not just because it offers old-school fun but because of the extra challenges. The Metal Slug series ranks right up there with the Contra games in my book. Heck, it may even be better than Contra. Now I just need to play the first MS, MS2 and MS3. Since I watched my brother-in-law play MS4, I may was well start that.

I haven’t given up on Zelda: A Link to the Past. In fact, I got past that annoying 4th dungeon in the Dark World this afternoon. Once I obtained The Big Key, everything just fell into place. The boss, Blind was even more of a pain than I remember. Multiple heads and fireballs make for a deadly combination. And now my sword is up to level 3!! W00t!! Is there a way to get Link’s sword up to level 4 or is 3 the highest it will go?

Yes, there is a way to attain level 4 of the Master Sword, the GOLDEN Master Sword. You do recall where Link’s House is in the Dark World? It’s a Bomb Shop now. At some point of the game, the owner will sell a Super Bomb. Once you buy this baby, go take it back to the Pyramid of Power (the centerplace of the Dark World, ya can’t miss it) and set it on the crack that won’t budge with normal bombs. This will take you to a Fairy Shrine. Throw in your Master Sword, and BOOM! Level 4.

Oh, sweet! Much thanks, man!

Got past that blsted Ice Palace that was Dungeon 5. The boss was easy to kill but the dungeon itself was the worst part of it. Slipping and sliding around everywhere. And I had to rely heavily on the fire rod for quick enemy kills. Now I just need to remember how to get into the 6th dungeon. Looks like its time to hit GameFaqs once again.

I played some DBZ: Supersonic Warriors a few days ago. Playing on Normal with Krillin, I actually got a power level rating of over 30 million. The highest I ever got was with Piccolo, which was more than 63 million. I think I was battling Freeza. But getting a PL of over 30 mill with Krillin against Goku… that’s pretty impressive in my book. I was fighting with LV1 characters but still. OK, Atari, where is Supersonic Warriors 2?

FREE PLUG time: Destroy All Humans is INCREDIBLE. Everyone should buy this game. Of course I already knew it would be tight, from my experience with the demo, and all the info I saw/read about the game. I don’t even care how far I am into the game(*I have passed 2 main missions and a few side missions)…it’s just so much fun. It’s cool that you can still use your normal alien psy powers while in “holobob” mode. Some of the thoughts you read off people are funny…and you can make so many hilarious situations just with Hypnotize commands and the ANAL PROBE.

*bonus cool points = your superior is none other than the voice of ZIM!

Just started playing some old school Street Fighter, SF2 Turbo to be exact.

All the bgm in this game are kick ass.

Co-sign, I took a few days off playing but now I’m back. Just got the final weapon for my saucer and I recently finished the mission “Duck and Cover” which was pretty fuckin hard, first mission that took me more than 3 tries. Also I fucking love Crypto, hope this game and God of War become running series like Jak and Ratchet.
