Since Wal-Mart just got that, I may buy it soon, like when I finally unlock everything in SSBM. But I’m still quite pissed that it isn’t available for PC. I love my mouse+keyboard.
Alundra. This is bad-assed. It’s…like…A Link to the Past with the difficulty turned way up. Enemies can be a little cheap but that’s about my only complaint. It’s awesome.
I just found out that in order to complete Vice City I have to have 60% of the game complete. Right now I’m at 50%. I’m going all over the city doing rampage missions, finding stunt bonuses, and finding hidden packages. Amazing that even after I put 40+ hours into this game that I’m not bored of it.
I hope I can find a copy of SS: The Next Encounter this week.
Just beat the Hydra boss in Serious Sam.
Talk about a fight that keeps you on your toes…jeez…
Gah! I’m only at 52% completion in Vice City. Only 8% more to go. I bought a condow that has 3 garages and a Maverick helicopter! Oh man, flying those things rule!! That said, I really want to finish this game.
Has anyone played Pocket Fighter for the PS1? I bought it used a while back and I have no clue what the deal is with the gems that keep poping out of the fighters when they are hit. I only played the game a bit tonight in training mode but I like the SD characters, visuals and sounds.
I have Pocket Fighter. Fun game!
The gems that come out of the characters when you beat them power-up special moves (just look at the bottom of the screen when you pick them up).
Ah, thanks.
BTW sounds like you’re really enjoying SS: Next Encounter. I’m hoping to buy it this week. Thanks for posting those impressions.
No problem at all.
Yep, I’m really enjoying the game so far. I just play a couple of levels a day, but I’m really making progress. I don’t know if it’s just me, but some of the levels seem much longer in comparison to the original Sams.
Splinter Cell has been sitting there for countless months…i guess ill finally give it a shot now.
Can’t…stop…looking…at…avatar…so…nice…
Agreed.
I never finished Metroid Prime, but my cousin unlocked Hard Mode. She makes fun of me for not finishing it yet, but she’s on some other level of “good” when it comes to that game, and I have no hope of catching up.
So what do I go and do? Start over… in Hard Mode. I’ll never finish it now. But on my new TV… it’s SOOOOOOOO beautiful…
Anywho, I’m trying to finish Metroid Prime, finally. I’m also still slowly but surely getting through Megaman Zero 2 without dipping below A rank.
The game I’m currently playing, well for the last 4 years is Mvc2. Still going strong I might add.
*Fullmetal Daywalker *
I rented Transformers for the PS2 tonight (my first game rental in nearly 3 years).
It’s actually pretty damn good! Graphics are nice and tight, it’s easy to play, and tranforming is a nice little kick!
This will be purchased in the future with Onimusha 3.
I just finished Alundra, and I’m about to put the finishing touches on Vandal Hearts 2. After that, I think some Thousand Arms is in order
Wow you finished Alundra? I hear that game is tough. Sounds like you’re on an RPG kick.
Unreal Tournament 2004 has redefined my gaming time. I haven’t even touched the solo campaign - just drilling fuckers away in Onslaught and CTF.
The first few dungeons in Alundra were really hard, but then it gets easier, until the final dungeon. That sucker must’ve taken me 4-5 hours to beat :bluu:
Yeah, I think I might be on a bit of an RPG kick
Score! I finally found a GC copy of Serious Sam: Next Encounter!! On top of that I also found Omega Boost new for $10 and Ace Combat 04 new for $15. Horay for me!
Oh yeah, still playing Vice City to reach 60% so I can unlock the final two missions to complete the game.
Bought Fight Night 2004 this week…
And I have not been disapointed yet.
This shit is gold. I take my PD2 to work and me and the guys just go at it for HOURS. And unlike a lot of boxing games it’s NOT a button mashing fest. I’m doing the season mode right now and doing that fucking heavy bag is tough. Still can’t get it to swing back and forth well with the uppuercuts.
This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying:
Still playing Disgaea too… Trying to get the ultimate weapon for everybody is quite time-consuming.
WHOA…make out like a bandit, brother, especially with that Omega Boost…and you got it NEW on top of that. Glad you found yourself a Sam!
