If I’m not mistaken, isn’t Cait Sith also a summon esper in FF3/6 that goes under the name “Stray”?
I beat King’s Field: The Ancient City last week so this weekend I had some time on my hands and decided to go back to the first (american) King’s Field. Played it Saturday and Sunday and got all the way to the end. Still got a few things to do before fighting the dragon but should have it wrapped up, then onto King’s Field II.
I also got the monster CVAA component cables for ps2 so I will be hooking those up to my slim ps2 and trinitron tonight for the ultimate experience!

Well I have just completed Xenosaga 2. And just like the first one it ended with a huge question mark. Well there are hidden dungeons now but i am not even bother. I am having a good time with Feng. Now he is wearing a his blue jacket, white slacks, black shores, and gangster hat. I may get him some glasses to really get him pimpin.
Yeah it is. There is alot of work to do in this game. I prefer the PC version though. The Sith powers is cooler but what out for the Kotor glitch if you have the Xbox verison.
Just saw Hades in Kingdom hearts, about to fight cloud, is it possible to beat him? i saved before the fight so i can check if i can, if your supposed to lose, then i will press on to fight the cerberus.
akuma: what did you think of Xeno2? I didnt even finish… I would have if I wasnt in a hurry to sell it. But honestly I could barely play for more than 20 minutes at a time when I got to cathedral, i was so disgusted with the whole game. I was bored to tears… i mean really, i was considering the ol spike through the forehead to end my misery.
and whats the glitch??? how can I avoid that. ManI will be pissed if I get many many many hours into the game only to get hosed by a glitch. thats what happened to be in Beyond Good and Evil… I was not a happy camper.

Well i didnt like it. It wasnt any different than the first. But around the end Ziggy gets mad as hell (he gets pissed about a pool of blood with some shoe on the ground image), chaos knows something (i am assuming that he’ll have a key role in the Xenosaga 3) SPOILER!!! Something named Abel’s Ark shows up. Plus, “It’s been a long time… Yeshua, I’m pleased you’ve come but, didn’t you say you weren’t going to intervene” the screen being focused on chaos the whole time. Chaos says “I’ve made up my mind, I’m not going to hold back anymore.” It leaves you a huge question mark about Chaos and that wilhelm guy. Jin leaves to go after something, shion and KOS-MOS are together, and Albedo dies.
As for the glitch in the xbox version of the first KOTOR when you open some boxes in that desert planet you go into, once you leave and come back to that same planet you have to deal with turrets that’ll automatically kill everytime or something like that. It was such a long time ago but it should be something like that.
nothing new…I’m still playing Unreal Championship 2 demo, and Super Mario3/Mario Bros. on breaks and lunch at work. One nitpick of that version of Mario Bros. —I miss the koopas! This version of the game has them replaced with spinys. Koopas had that cool animation where they get out of their shell, flip it back over and start walking again, or something like that. The spinys just turn back over if you don’t kick them…there’s no cool little animation other than them gradually waking up. I might pick up the Namco collectin next time I hit up Target…it would be tight to play some Ms. Pacman or Dig Dug while on lunch. I’ve only been hesitant on the GBA arcade compilations because I seriously doubt any of them are arcade perfect. eh, I may get something else…cuz Ms. Pacman REALLY needs to be arcade perfect for me to get 100% enjoyment. When the graphics of that game are compressed even slightly, I notice it, and it starts bringing down the nostalgic experience into ruin for me. :sad: I can be quite obsessive about my Ms. Pacman experience.

Playing Phantasy Star 4 (Genesis)
Gryz just joined my entourage and am leveling up in the basement.
Tell me about it. On my first run alone, I put in around 206 hours, with no idea as to how many the second run will be at this point since I plan on leveling up everyone (not just Fayt, Cliff, and Maria) to 255, especially since I’ll be getting Nel and Albel this time (I got Roger and Peppita as the permanent members last time).
SO3, at Aquios, completed Ruddle and Rumina sidequest that I missed the first time through. Mission 6 next on DMD in DMC3.
Yeah, it IS possible to beat him, but you have to be like, super extra careful. The outcome really doesn’t matter, though, and it seems like you don’t get anything extra for beating him, either (or do you?). 
i remember borrowing Breath of Fire years ago, giving it back AND NEVER FINISHING IT!! so i just got a hold of another copy and am playing the shit out of it.
an hour in and the game is still fun as hell. just acquired nina. her BoF2 incarnation is better i think…
I just finished collecting all of the platinums crests in Jungle Beat. Good fun.
That one roommate spent most of the day playing FF7, though, and is some way into disc 2. Crazy shit, I tell you, to get through all that stuff in one sitting. I’d be out of my mind.
At any rate, he has Yuffie and Cid now. I don’t much care for Yuffie. She’s kinda irritating. And looks stupid. Cid’s okay, though.
EDIT: Hey Million, you know the release date on UC2? I’d like to get that. It sounds good, and I really enjoy the first one.
akuma: i was wondering when they would really start to focus more on what or who chaos really is. I am still interested in the story, but the gameplay is really going to have go up to keep me playing.
Remy: I couldnt stand Yuffie. I was always hoping she would die. but Cid on the other hand is comedic gold. Although the events that happen in wu-tan(if I remember the name correctly) are pretty cool. and when I was playing FF7 in college, I would play for marathons. I was addicted.
That made me laugh, as I feel pretty much the same way there.
My friend has continued playing the game most of today, too. He has Vincent now, who I think is pretty neat, and whom he has starting using pretty regularly, along with Cloud and Barret. He had a chainsaw for Barret a little while ago, which was kinda cool. Reminded me of Ash.
Since he and my other roommate left a few minutes ago, I think I’ll snag some time on the bigscreen while he’s gone.
My FF7 team was always Cloud (of course), Aeris and Vincent. After you lose Aeris I switch for Cid. Fury Brand or Great Gospel = BROKEN…no wonder they knock her off.

Lantis: Only thing you get for beating Cloud is a ton of EXP…I didn’t have any trouble with him though. I utterly destroyed his ass, in EXPERT mode.
MrQuotes: BOF2 Nina was much cooler than original version…she was THE Nina, until Dragon Quarter came out. DQ Nina is a straight-up killer…her + Ryu = nothing survives. :tup:
Korigama: Have you tried 4D mode yet? It’s supposed to be insane once you get to the extra dungeons. According to a lot of people, if you don’t use Sophia you’re basically screwed, because she can hold enemeis in place w/a certain spell set-up (I think Thunder Flare + Lightning Strike) so that you can beast on them without having them running all over the place owning your team. Of course since I use Sophia already, it’s no problem for me. Fayt/Sophia/Nel is my current team. :bgrin:

all this FF7 talk is making me want to play the game again. Its been a while. I think I may pick it back up while im playing KOTOR. also, i really liked Dragon Quarter. it wasnt a top tier RPG, but the battle system was solid and fun, and I liked characters. so far I have played BOF 2-5. I havent played 1 yet.
Kingdom hearts: I got it when it came out, loved it…then i got to sephiroth my god that guy was a bitch…took me a bunch of elixers to beat him :sad: and i didnt get ultima weapon either i need that damn goo shit but i could never get it :sad: .
my copy of Sentinal Returns I got off ebay came yesterday.

Right now I am trying to learn how to play third strike. It’s hard because everyone has a 6 year head start one me, or how ever long it is.

I figured in college all I would do is play video games, but it’s been quite the opposite, I really just waste a lot of time doing nothing. I need to get off of the computer and do something, be it play video games or whatever.
I need a larger memory stick for my PSP too, I put music on it yesterday and could only fit like 8 songs. Does anyone know where I can get a good memory stick for cheap ? Lumines and Darkstalkers are very entertaining. Darkstalkers is so beautiful.
I figured that you couldn’t hold worth jack shit in that thing. There is a rumor according to Gameinformer that they may release a PSP with a hardrive.
