DAMN YOU. I want XS2 so bad…as for the extras, it’s not really a lot, just a couple of costume/swimsuit things. Yay.

And you’ve gotta tell me when you start getting into that, Shion looks like she wants chaos BAD. Anyone who’s seen their Dual Spell Ray knows of what I speak. I have to know, since chaos’ story is the one I care about most.

Anyways, I’ve been trying to get the PSO dupe trick to work, but I always get stuck at the part where you teleport immediately to the second shop. I hit B B A, and hold Left, but get nothin’. Help!

Im playing Myst 3, even though I havent beat myst 2 yet.

PSO duping --I’m already holding “left” before I press B,B,A…that happens when Shop Lady’s last chat bubble comes up. It’s also not to be done too fast or too slow…the timing seems kinda “picky”. Yeah, I’d rather there be an instant dupe method with an AR…there probably is though…
I’ll dupe again later today just to make sure I’m clear on the details…

I wonder if the same glitch was present in the dreamcast versions? It probably is, since the game is mostly the same…and nobody noticed it back then because Gameshark and Codebreaker let players do anything that came to mind…glitches weren’t even necessary.

y’know…it amazes me that a few “legit” people still pay money to play this game online. It’s been obvious for years now that Sonic Team doesn’t really care that much…I think the double-save was implemented to do something about the dupe situation, and that only horribly backfired…creating increased odds of FSOD/FSODx…pissing off lots of players. Plus, I’d guess that most of the online community had at least a few duped items in their inventory…and why ban a majority of paying customers? They certainly don’t monitor things…I remember being right there online and duping for people…and I never caught a ban…and there’s been other games where I came in and there’s red boxes all over the ground…with the game title actually being “DUPES4EVERY1!” or something like that…and no moderator type character ever showed up to play “police”…I certainly never got banned. Now there’s people that can apparently FSOD you whenever they want.(*that’s the kind of cheating I’m not cool with…that’s getting into the malicious cheats. Dupes are fine with me, but crap like forced FSOD is just lame. I’m strictly a self-serving type of cheater…I don’t care to harm others.) Anyway, the legit players hate it so much…so I wonder why they still pay about 9 bucks a month for this…and I also wonder why some cheaters actually pay money monthly if all they’re going to do is hang around the PSO lobby spamming a chat symbol, or FSODing random people. 9 bucks a month for that? Not for me…hmm…that extra 9 bucks is a quick meal with change left over, or a magazine, or a trip to the movies, etc.

heh, I just went online to see what it was like back then…and mainly to get the rare weapons I could never get on my own since my luck is crappy in games and in life. Really, it was a LONG time before I even saw my first Hildetorr…and most rare monsters have only shown up ONCE for me. I found a Spread Needle a few days ago, and it was my first rare in a long, long time. The only “good” rares I ever found were Holy Ray, Dragon/HP, God/Body, and a Chainsawd…and a few specialty wands like Fire Scepter Agni, and Club of Laconium. …and I’ve played the game since it came out on Dreamcast. All that time and only a small handful of rares? Bullshit…that’s one crucial reason why I turned to …the dark side of PSO…and it’s one of a few reasons why I think every PSO player eventually does the same. You get pretty tired of seeing just a Monomate show up after killing your thousandth Chaos Sorceror.

Xarcade(?) or whatever it’s called on Xbox—I played it that last time I went to my friend’s house…and of course I played one of my favorites of all time…Ms. Pacman. Sadly, the screen is compressed much like the default mode on the Namco Museum classics game for psx…but unlike the Namco Museum version, I don’t think there was a way to make it normal arcade dimensions again! That sucks. I need Ms. Pacman to be ARCADE PERFECT. Compressed or “scrunched up” graphics is not cool at all. Yeah, back on Namco Museum for Playstation, I would actually flip the screen so it was true arcade proportions, and then turn my little TV on its side. I did this every single time I played Ms. Pacman on it.

Played the first mission on StarFox Assualt. This game is hot! I have a couple other games that have been on backburner for a while that I’m trying to finish right now, but SFA is calling to me greatly. My roommates and I also did some multiplayer. Quite fun. As I mentioned before, I’m not too good at the combat flight sims, so they were beating my ass on the Arwing Only maps. But on the other maps, it was about even between all of us. I prefer Fox and Krystal. My roommates both kept using Falco.

One thing that I find kinda funny about the character differential in this is that Fox and Falco are the opposite of in SSBM. There, Fox was fast but a bit weak, while Falco was about average. Here, Fox is average, while Falco is fast but weak. Krystal = broken. Every time she dies, she gets two free energy shields. Makes things a bit easy for her as you can usually score a free kill or two immediately afterwards by using the invulnerability.

I was haning out at my friend/co-worker Brandon’s place with his friends Justin and Dan. We played the following games.

**Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution-**this was the first time I ever played vs. mode. Justin and Dan were TOO good. I got owned something fierce. My main fighters were Pai and Kage and I was still gettin stomped. I don’t even remember how many fights I won. But I lost more than I won, that’s for sure.

**Hyper Street Fighter II: Anniversary Edition-**Man it was so much fun playing this game. So many close fights. This stuff is OLD-SCHOOL!!! I was doing so rockage with World Worrior Ryu and Turbo Chun-Li. Justin was pwning with Vega and Ken. Dude is one of the best Ken player’s I’ve ever seen. Justin + Vega + Vega’s stage>Me. :wow:

**Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (DC)-**They were absolutely loving my custon techno/trance music DC version of this game. Justin rocked that whole game except when Brandon brought out Cammy. I love Cammy is SSFII and they mader her awesome in MvC2. Unlike Chun. Bleh.

Dude I have to wonder if you ever played on Ultimate because alot of the stuff you mentionned is really common later on. I played on DC if that matters, but Club of Laconium was trash to me and I just played solo.

I’m playing SaGa Frontier again…though I should be finishing the copy of Front Mission 3 that I borrowed from a classmate.

I started getting back into it when I went to listen to battle song from the MasterRing battle at the end of Riki’s quest…and then decided to “play around”. I ended up getting pissed enough to beat it after I “lost” because Lute kept getting charmed by the damned Mariche. I’ve beat it twice more…and I’ve actually lost count of how many times I’ve whooped its ass, especially now that I found that Vortex cancels Revolution9. :badboy:

Despite the fact that I am somewhat sure that I’m only one of ten people that have played this game, I’ll ask this:

Whose quest should I do last?

Of the people left, there is Blue, Red, and Asellus. The most likely seems Blue, since he’s the most “unique” due to fact that’s he only person in the entire game that can get both Life Magic and clashing magic classes. However, Red is the sole person with the ability to turn into Alkaiser, who is rather powerful himself, and Asellus is, well, damned complex herself and apparently quite powerful in Mystic form.

So, yeah, anyone have any “advice” on what I should do? This pretty the only reason why I haven’t saved over the Riki save and can thus beat on MasterRing whenever I want to.

PSO-----well, that was the problem…the stuff I mentioned, and probably 2 or 3 other things I forgot…were the only things I could find, besides real crap “rares” like L&K guns and Gae Bolgs. Those Gay Bolgs really made me want to smash something after awhile…I’m sure I’ve found at least 100 of those damn things.

But yeah, my luck was terrible when I was all “legit” and didn’t even know how to dupe. Actually, the duping was to safeguard my items and things for when I went online…again, cuz I know my luck sucks…so I took no chances there. I got online and into that wonderful “dark side” of PSO…with dupes and hacked weapons all around. I didn’t care for the hacked/rediculous stat weapons…I was more about getting the items on my “wish list”. Ohhh it was great…the game suddenly became 10x more fun and interesting for me. Sigh of a God, Prophets of Motav, Sorc. Cane, Psycho Wand…all mine for the taking.

DOOKIEMAN has reached 114, btw. He’ll be 115 before tonight is over…it should happen in one more run of the Soul of a Blacksmith quest. SoaB quest becomes your best bet for experience later on in the game…I think it’s like 54,000something exp within about 18-20 minutes!

Halo 2 --ahhhh…why couldn’t we have access to the other character models? The addition of the Elite is nice, but I’d also like to have a choice of the other characters…like a Helljumper(*his outfit would need to be lightened or something for balance), a regular marine, a “heretic” elite, and Sarge…perhaps even a Brute…though they would be easy targets…oh, and I’d LOVE to play as one of the Flood combat forms…

edit–and…I wouldn’t mind playing as a Jackal, either…that could be nice…and of course everyone gets shields like MC and the Elite. It’s multiplayer, it doesn’t have to make sense story-wise…I just want those character models playable.

Like mastermind, I am also play Katamari D. I cannot make a decent Cygnus constellation for goodness sakes. Damn EGGS! @_@ O_o o_O!!

Also playing MGS3, mostly Snake vs. Monkey. :-/

Yeah I’ll inform ya as soon as I get my lazy ass to finish XS1

Xenogears

Mario 3
Adventure Island
Magmax

I see I can change my title, and they fixed premium member shit. Perhaps I’ll sign up (although I only post once in a blue moon, meh).

Anyways, I rented and beat mgs3 a little while ago. Pretty fun, I’ll probably buy it soon.

Also made a new, random, MvC2 mix. Pet Shop Boys, Katamari Damacy, Motrhead, Alice In Chains (unplugged), and the theme song from The Sopranos, just to name a few. For the character select song I put Opportunities (Let’s Make Lots of Money), by Pet Shop Boys. I think it goes pretty well. “I’ve got the brains, you’ve got the looks, let’s make lots of money”

And I’m now level 32 on Maple Story. One more level and I can finally use my fucking Wizard Wand. The materials were hard enough to get, so I’m looking forward to using it.

Red’s path is the easiest out of the three you mentioned, and very cool if you like swords. Blue’s is the most fun and free-roaming (the infinite credits trick is also MUCH easier thanks to the region map), and Asellus’ is the hardest but also very fun and unique. I’d probably do Blue’s last just because its nice and relaxed.

Now I have to play this again, thanks. Back when I got it and the strategy guide (badass guide), I got another psx memory card. Very handy so you can have one save for every character. :bgrin:

X-Death, good to see you on here, man. You should drop by more often. So is doing MvC2 custom discs like a regular thing for you?

Well dudes, I finally started Sky Gunner. I’ve had it for a while now and it took me forever to find a used copy. Right now I’m doing training. The visuals are just BEAUTIFUL (as was the opening) and the music is great stuff. I like how all three Gunners have different ships and pros/cons. If training is any indication, I’m gonna have a lot of fun with this one.

In Advance Wars, I’ve finished Field Training and I’m on to the Camp. mode. So far I’ve got Andy and I haven’t played much of the first mission but it looks like it could be a doozy.

Rant And Rave Time

Today is the story of my life…
Man I’m reaaaaaallllllly ready to strangle this bastard on the Neo Geo.com selling forums! Let’s just say I’m so fucking tired of looking at my copy of Akumajou Dracula X knowing that I can’t play it and afford another Turbo Duo to replace my busted one.

I came real close to getting a PC Engine Duo-R for real cheap. I had really hoped to be playing my Dracula X (which I’ve owned since November) the following week. Well everything was going great until I last checked my PM’s. This fucker straight up shot me down by selling it to someone else, and referred me to other places (including Ebay) to buy a Duo system with some uber steep prices I avoid like the plague! The real kicker is, I called the fucking thing first!

Y’all don’t know how hurt and bummed out I am and that shit’s gonna be plaguing me every day since that was what seems to have been my one and only shot.

I know it’s easy to say, “don’t sweat it”, but I know what it’s like to have something you really want snatched out from underneath you.

For starters, there’s quite a few pricks over at Neo-Geo, and I’m sorry you had to deal with one when you were so close.

Put his shit out in the open what kind of seller he is, man.

Yeah, I happen to be somewhat of an authority on custom mvc2’s as you may or may not know, depending on if you’ve ever checked the thread in fighting game discussion. Since I get bored of the same thing fast, and I likes my mvc2, I usually make a custom every 2 months just to keep my interest up. Like I said, if you want another one, just bug me. Try to fix your aim though, its much easier to just send it that way.

And Advance Wars is easily my favourite gba game. Enjoy.

Kingdom under fire [I just started it, it’s pretty fun so far…but I really hate the soundtrack.]
Halo 2 [only over system link, haha.]
Burnout 3
I still play Starcraft, D2:LOD and Morrowind off and on

watching vids of FF7 advent children got me to play FF7 again. and then after that FF8

does anyone know the date that advent children will be in the US or released in Japan?

Been playing Super Robot Wars F for Saturn the past week. Despite it being Japanese, it’s not too hard to figure out, though you may need an FAQ or two for the menus and such. If there’s anyone here that’s played one of these games before, you know what to expect. Nothing more satisfying than blasting a boss to pieces with Wing Zero’s Buster Rifle.

Played Super Robat War Alpha and SRW4. It’s been a long game serie spanning from nes to ps2 and handheld and used many popular mechs from many series (backbone being the Gundam, Mazinger, and Gatte series)

Feels good to do 50000+ attacks.

There is a new one out soon, the third super roboat alpha war.
