We were talking about the mvc2 machine. I mean it’s so fucking annoying to get four tokens from a buck and use 3/4 of it for one game. CvS2 used to be 3-4 tokens when it was first set up at the arcade there. Seeing that they dropped it to 2 I certainly hope that they do the same for marvel. However one of the dudes working there that emera and I were trying to convince was telling us that his manager’s a dick and blah blah blah. Damn, three fucking tokens…:bluu: :lame:
On another note it’s gonna be hard to set up a tourney in danbury from what I’ve observed from the arcade. The sticks were fucked up today when I played the game for the fuck of it, and got depressed from boredom.:lol: I mean there were times when I wanted to jump and the game still had me walking towards that certain direction. There has never been a time where I played the game there and the sticks would not fuck up. Another thing is though some of the staff members are cool people a couple of them are anal. Like when Emera was helping to install new sticks or whatever for the mvc2 game one of the more dicky staff members went up to him and yelled at him. And again the manager supposedly is an oversized penis. Ah well good luck to you guys for making one.

just to let you guys know all mvsc2 tournies are in bridgeport becuase we have 2 big screen mvsc2 with perfect 360’s and competition buttons and why are you guys looking for mvsc2 competition in danbury??? Only one town offers msvc2 competition and thats bridgeport

I would run tourneys but you would have to have the sticks be upgraded. Maybe if we had the first tourney be token prize then the money would go torwards new controls for the games. If someone can put this through management I will give you all the info you will need and will help out with this.
If we all request to the manager he will do it hes a cool guy and is nice he is the one who got the mvc2 cabinet. Hes half black and half hispanic. Hes a cool guy so just ask him.

no news yet but when i go this is what he will say " if whoever wants to run it comes and talk to me im sure we could have one" so whoever will be so kind and will run it talk to him.
organizing and running a tourney isn’t all that hard…
i’ve run 4 or 5, and once the brackets are set up everything is surprisingly simple…
really, anyone can do it…
In update from what Emera tells me MvC2 now has all the characters thanks to a code given to us, also I would be willing to run your tournaments but will not be able to make it up since James is going to evo. I will try to make it next week, I am the truth people ;).

ehhh im a nub so why does perfect 360 matter so much ive only played on 3 cvs2 cabinets and i dont care that much about the joystick why doe sit matter so much?
Because perfect 360s are the standard, they never break and you wont have problems doing anything on them. Switch sticks can have bad switches and when doing advanced motions stuff wont come out, like sentinel unfly combos, Bison a groove etc.
