Just wondering, why doesn’t danbury throw tourneys? I’m no resident of CT but I just realized that I haven’t heard anything about danbury tourneys. Wonder if it’s the same lame reason as my arcade for not bothering to throw any.:bluu:
Sometime around march or april. Sometimes the event is moved so I end up going somewhere else. But it’s usually there every year.

because there is like only one decent player in Danbury…alot of people there just play the game but dont really care that much to throw a tourney…

He usually spends a lot of time at the arcade and since he’s got the whole week off from work most likely he’ll be there, especially since he’s been busting his brains out trying to figure out how to unlock the characters in the japanese mvc2 cabinet that the arcade got recently. As described he’s the little asian kid with long nails, and he has dyed bronze hair. If you see him iplayCVS2, tell him that Stew says hi!

I dunno the only guy I know who has beaten Emera is James. I’ve came close to beating emera a few times but usually we just do combo exhibitions on the machine. I give the game props for having tight ass combos.

Just got back from danbury, MvC2 was a fucking blast!
People screaming like crazy with random ass commentaries, all the characters finally obtained, it was a fucking party.
I didn’t really play CvS2, we were all more focused on mvc2. I’m definitely playing in danbury from now on. There aint jackshit here in my town and I gotta start adapting to the sticks for danbury’s mvc2. Good shit though, I’ll be back.

It’s official, after seeing both mvc2 and cvs2 in action side by side and shifting eyes between the two machines, cvs2 is officially in my opinion one of the most boring games ever made. Gay how they cranked down the speed, and then Emera told me that’s how they play it at tourneys. Fuck that man, mvc2 all the way. It’s fucked up that it costs THREE FUCKING TOKENS to play marvel though. Those arcade people seriously need to wake the fuck up and change that shit, it’s fucking ridiculous.
It needs GGXX and tournaments, also the prices need to be toned down.
ehhh well i now use Blanka cammy and ken due to my iori cost my to be eliminated at the milford tourny. Anyway 2 tokens for cvs2 isnt a rip , YES : there is going to be a cvs2 ourny we just need SOMEONE TO ORGANIZE IT!!! , and there isnt a ggxx cabinet cause : mvc2 is brand new they r going to lower the price soon.
