He starts talking about it for real at around the 10 hour 42 minutes mark. Him and Arturo talk about the “STAGED” shit being blown out of proportion. They shit on Triforce a bit for thinking it was serious and saying people’s sponsorships were in danger. They start talking about how now people are going to tune into the show now, arturo and haunts were in a room with some capcom people and they were hype about all this drama bringing in more eyeballs to the stream.
Basically repeating what people have said in the thread before. Fake hype, not so much fake matches.

That’s really flawed reasoning, not everyone plays exactly the same way in every match. Did you see Fuudo vs Latif in Evo finals? Latif played like shit, made all kinds of mistakes, even though he was beasting in previous matches.

I love how the drama surrounding this Mike Ross and Jago thing is more interesting than this “reality show” and the game it’s advertising. We all fell for the trap.
All Capcom really needs to do is stop the cheque that Ross was given so it can’t be cashed. Take back their prize money, ban them from further events and donate the money to the grand prize.
Why would they do that? I doubt anyone at Capcom suspects the match was faked, as doesn’t anyone with a little bit of sense.
Jago was really good at making me hate him, I wanted to train up and get good just to wipe that smugness off of him. Haha
