I really hope they share that Akuma info. Probably not though.
Also, I really don’t feel like that Hugo combo on the first combo challenge should count. Was pandora even allowed for that? And also, pandora ended before the super did, so is it even a legit combo? Either way, if team tekken were smart, they would’ve just done CH Final TAP for 625 damage, plus that they might have been able to foolow it up thanks to the wallbounce.
For the top four at Final Round, I think Bronson and Steve are pretty easy picks for the Tekken side…and for some reason, I think it’s going to be Josh and Sherry for Team Street Fighter. It’s hard to pick anything after that, because I’m not sure how the finals will be handled, but I would like Bronson and Steve over Josh and Sherry in a 2v2.
I find it really weird a team can win all the challenges and elimination matches and there is still a chance the other team can team the prize at the end.
Terrible format. It really feels like there is no reward for doing good. In fact, the opposite. The team that always does well has the burden of offing their own members.
The format does need some work but I suppose the team that does well could been viewed as optimizing itself. At least the coach can divide his attention with a little more focus.
This is dumb. The idea for this show is good, but the execution is bad. I mean, it’s not the challenges I have a problem with necessarily, it’s the way the voting is done. You shouldn’t be asking the person to say who they’re voting for, in front of everyone else (including the one they vote for), not only does it influence other people’s decisions, it’s just awkward having to tell a person you want to kick them out. It’s like a staple of any reality show, you hide people’s votes.
And THEN these guys are supposed to keep competing for the team they just got booted from? What motivation is there? I would just say ‘fuck the challenge material, I’m gonna just dick around and experiment with new stuff’ if I was already off the team.
Besides, I’m getting bored of seeing both sides basically play all street fighter characters. Not exactly the producer/show’s fault but still yawn.
I’m sure there’s a reason the eliminated members of both teams are still there. Spooky already hinted at it, but they’ve definitely got a reason to keep trying otherwise they *would *be dicking around. I think they know whats up, we’re just in the dark about it. I do agree about the voting process though, they should’ve just done it Survivor style and not try to obviously create artificial drama. Rock and Renic knew what was going on after they got back to their rooms - though Rock’s words are still obviously true. Show sucks and they obviously didnt think most of this shit through.
You won’t see innovation because there is money on the line. The players are doing what it takes to win, to the annoyance of stream monsters.
I’ve said it a lot. I would have rather they just put up some pros in the hotel instead and paid them a thousand bucks each to play the game for 5 days. They could have given desk an early copy of the game as well and commissioned him to produce some combo videos on the grounds that, instead of showing bugs in his videos as he usually does, he report them to Capcom for a day-1 patch.
That would be helpful but I don’t think it would be entertaining to watch, especially for more casual players which is what I think they’re going for.
While the idea of them helping lesser players get better under coaching and making a show of it is a good idea imo, the execution is just really bad. But yeah, troll Team Tekken with Aris is the most amusing thing to watch.
Well the female players have actually looked good. Sherry had the best score in the trial challenge and looked good in her first match.
Superyan also played well in her first match and hasn’t shown that shes completely incompetent in any of the team challenges.
Niether one of them looked amazing compared to theyre teams but neither one looked weak. The middle of the pack tends to get ignored when you have an elimination format like this ( examples: top shot, The Ultimate Fighter, etc etc )
Really no reason to eliminate Super_Yan at this point. She is the weakest link on Team Tekken. Sherry is better than Dr. Sub-Zero so he obviously was first to go. Super Yan will probably go tomorrow. It is in team SF’s best interest if Miranda stays on.
