I make a wonderful pillowcase turkey.
Iāve been trying to make easy spicy vegetable rice, kind of like lazier Biryani.
Iām putting ghee in a pan and mixing washed basmati rice through it with ground salt, white pepper, cumin, cardamom, garlic and chilli and a bit of lemon juice. Iām then adding two cups water for one cup rice, some dried vegetables like peas and lentils and letting it boil dry.
Itās coming out pretty good so far but I want to refine it a bit more.
Some struggle foods Iāve madeā¦
Meatloaf w/ mashed potatoes and broccoli
Spinach, mushroom, and onion omelet
Fried pork chops
Made this months ago, proud of how it came out cuz Iām NOT a good cook. Lemon pepper salmon with Parmesian zucchini
I love a good breakfast casserole. What all u put in yours?
Sausageā¦sharp cheddarā¦biscuitsā¦eggā¦and pepperoni.
Damn gonna try to the biscuit thing, never did that. I usually throw Hashbrowns and Cream of chicken then call it a day
Gonna try a hash browns based casserole next timeā¦
Pepperoni . . . . . .
This is just a breakfast deep-dish pizza.
Had I added mozzarellaā¦Iād say yes.
Yeah, imma need to āborrowā that recipe.
When Iām filling fancy ill throw some Connecuh sausages in my casserole, only us Southerners know bout them Connecuhs
Oh hell, this is the most preposterously nerdy cooking channel Iāve run across. Well done!
In the meantime, hereās my super bootleg pandemic French Onion Ramen.
Maruchan Beef Ramen
Sauteed Onions, somewhere around 200g or so I find adequate.
A slice or two of Swiss cheese.
Making best use of what ingredients are in the house while duckinā Covid.
Tonightās dinner consists of chilli with red kidney beans with cheese and sour cream over potato wedges.
Nice! Gonna whip up a batch of regular chili today, and then a vegetarian chili since Iāve adopted a meatless Mondays gimmick to conserve during this pandemic era.
Hopefully itās decent. Try the base model, then if I like it tweak future revisions.
Is it a chili cook off in this thread?!
Bashed this together in a hurry before work last night. Didnāt want to let the ground turkey sit in the fridge.
The only bummer about coming home to a hallway that smells of chili, is postponing the chili for lunch time instead of digging in for breakfast.
Time to clean up and prep ingredients for that vegetarian chili.
